Alfred Saenz - CEO, Chairman

Alfred Saenz joined MULTATECH in 1988, serving as President and CEO since 1999. Alfred's vision for MULTATECH was to become a full-service Architectural and Engineering firm. Through steady and strategic project growth, and by selecting professionals of the highest caliber has led to adding Architectural and Civil divisions to MULTATECH's already successful MEP group. Alfred is active in the daily operations of the company. Before entering the University of Texas at Arlington, Alfred spent two years in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. Prior to joining MULTATECH, he was a partner with an MEP engineering design firm in Dallas, and started and led an MEP firm in Fort Worth that was based in Dallas. An active community leader and supporter of local non-profits, Alfred has been involved in the following organizations: Child Care Associates, Board of Directors City of Fort Worth Development Advisory Council, former member City of Fort Worth Stockyards/Northside Tax Increment Finance District, Board of Directors Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, former Chairman of Board of Directors Fort Worth Opera Association, former President of Board of Directors Fort Worth Opera Endowment, former Board of Directors March of Dimes' March for Babies for Tarrant County, former Chairman's Committee Mental Health America of Greater Tarrant County, former President of Board of Directors Multicultural Alliance, former Chairman of Board of Directors North Texas Community Foundation of North Texas, Board of Directors, former Chairman of Board of Directors Texas Health Behavioral Health, former Board of Directors Texas Health Resources, former Trustee, Southwest Zone Subcommittee United Community Centers, former President of Board of Directors United Community Center Foundation, Board of Directors Fort Worth ISD featured Al Saenz as 1 of 8 former FWISD students who were added to the District Wall of Fame in 2017. Saenz was honored by Superintendent Kent Scribner on March 23, 2018.

Eric A. Canales - VP

Eric Canales joined MULTATECH with more than 18 years of civil engineering experience, with a concentration on transportation projects, including aviation, roadways, highways, and transit. Previously a Project Manager for AECOM (formerly URS), Eric provided services for DFW International Airport's Terminal Renewal and Improvement Program on multiple planning and programming projects. Additionally, he has managed, designed and performed design reviews for projects that included runways, streets, bridges, railroad crossings, utility relocations, drainage, signalized intersections and signage. Eric's projects have required coordination with various entities including TxDOT, the North Texas Tollway Authority and countless municipalities. Eric holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University. He is a Fellow for the Society of American Military Engineers, actively serving on the Fort Worth Post Board of Directors since 2007 and presiding as President in 2012. Eric is also a member of the America Society of Civil Engineers and the Texas Institute of Transportation Engineers.

Laurence J. Maloney

Laurence Maloney has been with MULTATECH for more than 12 years and is a Principal, managing MULTATECH's Fort Worth Electrical Engineering Department. With more than 50 years of experience, he provides design and project management expertise related to commercial, industrial and institutional construction projects. Laurence's vast knowledge extends to the management and design of electrical power distribution, lighting facilities, energy remediation, medical electrical systems, SCADA, and commercial and industrial power systems. Prior to joining MULTATECH, Laurence was Chief Engineer for Siebe/Invensys Contractors, soliciting, contracting, and supervising architects and engineers for Design-Build services. He was also a Principal and Electrical Engineering Manager at Maloney Associates Consulting Engineers for eight years and at Friberg Alexander Maloney Gipson Weir Consulting Engineers for 12 years. Laurence holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas. He has been a registered Professional Engineer since 1964, holding licenses in multiple states. Laurence has authored several articles for lighting publications, and contributed to Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IESNA) and Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Handbooks. He is a Senior Member of IEEE, and a Fellow of the IESNA.

Leo L. Craig, III - VP

Leo has over 20 years of design and technical experience as a Civil Engineer. His knowledge spans a wide spectrum including water, sewer, and paving projects for municipalities; Quiet Zones at railroad crossings; bridge projects for TxDOT; drainage and hydraulic project LOMRs and CLOMRs, processed through the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA); and mainline capacity and terminal projects for Class I Railroads. Leo not only manages design projects for MULTATECH, but has performed construction management services as a resident engineer for all phases of municipal, state, site development and railroad projects completed throughout the country. Leo earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington and is a member of the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance Association.

Patrick S. Gallagher - VP

Patrick has over 34 years of experience overseeing construction, interacting with owners during the design of their facilities, writing specifications, coordinating with city plan reviewers and researching code requirements. He has successfully learned the role of the Architect within the building process. Patrick has completed new and renovation projects for retail and food distribution centers, automotive dealerships, retail stores and shopping malls throughout the country. Prior to joining MULTATECH, Patrick was a Senior Architect for Jacobs. Patrick holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Texas at Arlington. He is a Registered Architect in almost every state. Patrick is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the Fort Worth Chapter of the AIA, and Texas Society of Architects (TSA).

Paul J. Padilla - COO, VP

Paul Padilla joined MULTATECH as a Principal with more than 29 years of experience in the areas of roadway design, traffic control plans, storm water pollution prevention plans, ROW determinations, ROW mapping and legal descriptions, cost estimating, utility design and relocation, specifications, contract documents, construction administration, complex drainage design, flood studies, drainage design, route studies and environmental assessments. Paul oversees and directs all of MULTATECH's site planning, site development and civil municipal projects. In his 11 years with the Central Federal Lands Highway Division, Paul gained substantial Hydrology and Hydraulics experience through projects with various engineering capacities located throughout the Western United States. He conducted complex hydrologic and hydraulic analysis including flood routing, flood plain mapping, sediment transport, bridge backwater and scour studies, and storm water master planning. Just prior to joining MULTATECH, Paul worked as a project manager at Wilson & Company, Inc. where he managed numerous large complicated projects requiring multidisciplinary teams and considerable interface with clients and other interested parties. Paul holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from New Mexico State University with a Minor in Water Resources. He is currently serving on the boards of Tarrant County Child Protective Services and the Society of American Military Engineers, where he is actively involved with their K-12 outreach efforts. Paul is also a member of the American Public Works Association, Texas Society of Professional Engineers and the National Society of Professional Engineers.

Roman Romero

Texas State House Representative, Roman Romero, Jr., presented Al Saenz with a plaque indicating that the Texas State House of Representatives adopted H.R. 481, acknowledging that Saenz was honored at the 68 th Multicultural Alliance Annual Awards Dinner. He was presented the MCA Awards dinner plaque on March 4, 2019 for promoting diversity and inclusion in the community.

Walter J. O'Reilly

Walter has over 16 years of experience in commercial and residential land development, DOT roadways, sanitary sewers, water distribution, site grading, municipal roadway design, railroad, stormwater design, hydraulic system modeling, and stream surface profile modeling, among others talents. Walter's engineering expertise includes design, analysis, report preparation, and drafting of engineering deliverables, while maintaining flexible as a Project Manager skilled in client relations, permitting, proposal writing, and project management of budgets, personnel, and engineering tasks. He serves as a design engineer for many projects requiring multi-disciplined coordination and knowledge. Prior to joining MULTATECH, Walter was a Project Engineer and Project Manager for TranSystems, where his responsibilities included complex hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, grading, detention pond design, storm water quality, sanitary sewer design and rehabilitation, and water distribution design and modeling.Walter holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Tennessee and is a member of Society of American Military Engineers.
