ON THE SPOT PET SERVICES - Key Persons

Buckley Screws

Hi! I'm Buckley! After growing up in the small town of Swainsboro, GA, I'm happy to have called Cobb County my home for 5 years now. I grew up with both dogs and cats in my family household, and I helped to train, care for, and love each of them. After graduating college, I worked different jobs while always pet-sitting on the side. During Covid, I decided to take a chance and surround myself with fur babies full time, and it has been the best decision I've ever made!! When I'm not with your animals, I enjoy spending time with my fiance, Kevin, and our cat, Pretty Kitty The cat distribution system sent her to our yard during 2020, and two self-proclaimed "dog-people" are now crazy cat parents. An interesting fact about me? I'm a quadruplet! I have one brother and two sisters, and we share the same birthday in December. Can't wait to meet you and your animals!

Job Titles:
  • Owner
After twenty years working in New York as a designer in the "dog eat dog" world of fashion, I was ready for a change! Knowing my love of animals, my loving husband suggested I start my own dog walking and pet sitting business. In September 2009, On The Spot Pet Sitting and Dog Walking Services was born! If I had to name one thing I like most about being a pet care provider, I would have to say it would be the special relationships I've developed with pets under my care. As a pet owner myself, I understand just how important our client's fur kids are to them, so I make it my number one priority to provide the best service and support possible for each pet and their owner.

Rachel Hogan

Hi, I'm Rachel! I was born in Athens GA, but moved to Smyrna in 2002, and have lived here in Smyrna ever since. Growing up, my neighbors have always had dogs, but in my house, we were the definition of cat people; even with us having cats, I always loved dogs. Luckily when I was 11, we had some neighbors move in across the street who needed someone to house sit and dog sit. I was their first option and they stuck with me until they moved a couple of years ago. It was hard at first due to me being so small and the dogs being fairly large, but I made it work. Originally the owners were a little nervous about me walking all three of their large dogs, but I got the hang of it pretty quickly, and pretty soon my next-door neighbors asked me to pet sit and dog walk for them as well; they were much easier to handle but I missed the challenge of walking three large dogs. When I'm not pet sitting or dog walking, I enjoy having very quiet nights with my kitties, or hanging out with my friends, or even just sitting back and watching one of my favorite shows. I also just got engaged to my high school classmate; my birthday is also on Valentine's Day, lucky me!
