Lynda Rae Villegas

Lynda is originally from Cheyenne, Wyoming and graduated from Central High School in San Angelo, Texas. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2017 from The University of Texas at San Antonio. She is also a Certified Nurse Aide and has worked in several geriatric facilities since 2014. Lynda is an "Air Force brat," and has travelled all over the world including Tokyo, Venice, Manila, and London. She's been with her partner, RJ for 7 years and they have a beautiful daughter, Adalee and two fluffy pups, Cash and Biko. She's lived in San Antonio for 10 years, and enjoys playing video games and watching anime at home in her free time.

Maria Isabel Triana

Dr. Triana completed her medical studies, Internship and Residency in Ophthalmology at Javeriana University in Bogota, Colombia. She practiced there before moving to the U.S. To practice in the U.S. she completed an Internship in Internal Medicine and Residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Texas Health Science Center-San Antonio. She has also completed a Research Fellowship in Glaucoma Genetics at the Harvard Medical School.

Priscilla Casares

Priscilla is originally from Boerne, Texas and graduated from Boerne High School. She completed the Cosmetology Program at Nuvani Institute and became licensed in 2018. She's worked in the medical field in various fields including Dermatology, Endocrinology, and Family Counseling prior to venturing into Ophthalmology. She's had roles that span from Sales, Maintenance, and Administration. She's married to Albert and they have a daughter named Kiah. In her free time, she loves to workout, fish, craft, travel, and try different sports. She also enjoys trying different kinds of restaurants, but especially likes seafood, bbq, Mexican and Italian food.

R. Jones

Dr. Jones is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Texas Health Science Center and served as a Team Physician for the San Antonio Rampage Hockey Team from 2010-2016. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and published a book for physicians on Physician Employment Contracts. He's been selected numerous times as a "Leading Physician in the World", one of "America's Top Ophthalmologists", and a "Top Doctor" by Scene in San Antonio. He was selected as a "Doctor of Excellence" by the board of the Leaders in Healthcare Network and appears in the "Doctors of Excellence" edition of Physician s Review. He is a proficient Spanish speaker. Dr. Jones is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Texas Medical Association, Bexar County Medical Society, and the San Antonio Society of Ophthalmologists (served as its President from 2016-17). In his spare time, he is passionate about helping the next generation by serving as a college fair representative and alumni interviewer for Stanford University. He's also volunteered as a Youth Basketball Coach

Relief Jones

Dr. Jones is a board-certified ophthalmologist-a medical doctor that specializes in diseases and surgery of the eye. He is an expert cataract and glaucoma surgeon who performs the latest surgical techniques including laser cataract surgery and minimally-invasive glaucoma surgical (MIGS) procedures. He was born in Gretna, Louisiana and grew up in the small town of Buras, Louisiana (suburbs of New Orleans). He graduated Valedictorian of his class and is a graduate of Stanford University (with Honors) and the Duke University School of Medicine. At Duke, he completed the Biomedical Engineering Research Track where he honed his investigative skills and learned to solve some of the most pressing problems in medicine. After medical school, he continued his research with Wayne Streilein, M.D., "the Father of Modern Ocular Immunology", in the Ocular Immunology and Transplantation Laboratory at the Schepens Eye Research Institute/Harvard Medical School. Dr. Jones relocated from Boston to New Orleans for an Internship year which combined Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Emergency Medicine at Tulane University. He then traveled to San Antonio for a 3-year Residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Texas Health Science Center-San Antonio. Finally, Dr. Jones returned to Boston for a Clinical Glaucoma Fellowship at the prestigious Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary/Harvard Medical School.

Sierra Rodriquez

Sierra is originally from San Angelo, Texas and graduated from Lakeview High School. She completed the Medical Assistant Program at Howard College and is currently working on a Bachelor's in Science degree from Texas Tech. She's worked in the medical field for 6 years with jobs ranging from Patient Coordinator to being a Medical Technician. She's lived in San Antonio since 2020 and plans to plant roots in the city with her partner of 4 years, Dario. They have 2 energetic pups, Comet Ollie and Nova Kane. In her free time, she loves outdoor adventures and staying active with the pups at local parks and trails. She also enjoys game nights and trying new restaurants with Dario.
