I started to learn the violin at my infant school when I was 9 years old and over the next few years progressed to Grade 8 In 1990 I auditioned and was accepted to the Trinity College of Music (London) Junior Department where I studied the Violin and Viola under the guidance of Aidan Massey and Patricia Hohmann-Barker, during this period I had the opportunity to play in many of London‘s prestigious venues.
