TEXAS DANCE HALL PRESERVATION

Texas Dance Hall Preservation, Inc., is a statewide nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving historic dance halls and the authentic Texas heritage, music, and culture found in them... Our organization is led by an active working board of directors with an advisory board of dance hall owners and other specialists who generously lend their expertise to this cause... Texas Dance Hall Preservation offers seed grants to help dance halls make repairs or help pay for a building condition assessment by a qualified architect or structural engineer. The Spring application deadline is March 15. The Fall application deadline is September 15.
