Tony Morris has had an attraction to communication since he was a boy growing up in Enterprise, Alabama. As an early teen, he created magazines, which he sold to friends and neighbors. Later in high school, he authored a weekly column in five area newspapers, a feat, he jokingly once said, made him perhaps the youngest syndicated columnist in the State of Alabama!... Morris attended Troy University on a leadership scholarship and graduated with a Journalism degree. After college, he carved out a 25-year career in the corporate communications world where he held management positions with Fortune 500 companies like MCI Telecommunications, The Coca-Cola Company and Brown-Forman... A self-described lifelong student, Morris is a firm believer in learning and education. At his high school alma mater, he has awarded The Roy Shoffner Memorial Journalism Scholarship and The Seroba Bowden Marsh Honorary Teaching Scholarship, both named after people who were early mentors in his life.
