Dannie has over 20 years in the Retail and E-Commerce Industry at various Senior Level Management positions, with heavy experience in start-ups and venture capital backed projects.
Dannie aspires to search, identify, and qualify both skill-based and cultural fits to our clients' management talent needs. His most marketable candidates are hard-charging, fast track, and balanced professionals, managers, and executives. These prized candidates are committed to achieving the company's goals and objectives and are proven performers who have a track record of professional success and a strong desire to persevere. Besides managing a successful business, Dannie spends much of his time serving his fellow owners and his community in numerous advisory positions.
Outside of the Network, Dannie is a 10-year veteran of the US Army and the Ohio National Guard. He also serves on the Blue Ridge District Council for the Boy Scouts of America. Outside of his volunteer work, Dannie enjoys the links, where he has won tournaments on the Golf Channel Amateur Tour. He has also cashed in the World Series of Poker Circuit Tour. In addition, he continues his quest to hike the Top 20 hikes in the world. At this point, he has 13 of them scratched off his bucket list.
As The Newell Group's head of the nonprofit division, David focuses on helping leaders and boards of nonprofit organizations live out their missions and steward their resources by finding the best executive talent. Before he became a nonprofit leadership recruiter, David's first career was in higher education, as a professor and chair of history, with appointments in Ohio, Texas, Indiana, and South Carolina as well an appointment as Fulbright Hays Fellow to Mexico.
In addition to heading The Newell Group's nonprofit practice, David leads a team of dedicated researchers who provide concierge service for all of the practices at the Newell Group. This team is responsible for creating precision searches to serve our clients with curated, precise searches to unearth high-impact candidates who otherwise would not have even known their opportunity existed. Departments that are currently supported include, Logistics, Procurement, Wholesale/Retail, Food and Beverage, Med Device and FDA Regulatory.
David is originally from New Hampshire, Ohio but now calls the South home. He and his wife, Abby, have two active children, Nathanael and Anna Rose. He tolerates their cat, Harry, and regularly brings Sally, a Boston Terrier/Boxer mix, to visit the office every Wednesday. In his spare time, David enjoys volunteering to support local human and social service agencies through his parish's nonprofit partnership program. His claim to fame is as a co-recipient of the 2006 Time Magazine Person of the Year.

Hailey Morris is a Senior Recruiter for Orthotics and Prosthetics here at The Newell Group. She started as an intern last fall and has become a full-fledged team member since then. Hailey's education focused heavily on computer technology specifically cyber security with a lot of SQL and Microsoft Database experience to boot. Hailey started working with our office to get some experience in a dynamic workplace. She is an avid movie watcher with a real understanding of movie facts and trivia her favorite movie is Little Miss Sunshine. Hailey enjoys cooking, pop culture, and playing with her two dogs.

Jasmine joined our team as the Spring Intern in 2023 while completing her bachelor's degree at the University of Furman where she majored in Spanish. After graduation, she has decided to join our team full-time as an Internet Researcher and IT Assistant.
Jasmine is originally from Sumter, South Carolina, and decided to make Greenville her home after her college experience at Furman. In her free time, Jasmine enjoys spending time with her fiancée, playing the saxophone, going swimming, and spending time with family
Jessica recently moved into the role of Administrative Manager for The Newell Group after spending more than a year as a senior recruiter in the Orthotics and Prosthetics field. In addition to her work at The Newell Group, Jessica has more than 10 years of customer service experience including five years spent in inside sales.
Jessica was born and bred in the Upstate of South Carolina and is a proud graduate of Woodruff High School. When she's not connecting with clients and candidates, her other full-time job title is "Mom" to a blended family of four little ones. She's very busy! Jessica loves music, true-crime documentaries, baking and crafting.
Kasey is the Practice Lead in the Food Manufacturing division at The Newell Group. He places executive candidates that handle everything from frozen foods to sauces and condiments, snack food to pet food. Kasey started the Food & Beverage recruiting team at The Newell Group, but before that he spent 21 years with TEKsystems in various roles including as a recruiter and account manager.
Kasey is a native South Carolinian who grew up on a farm in Marion. As a result, he loves the outdoors. Kasey mountain bikes and enjoys visiting our country's beautiful National Parks. He and his wife are on a quest to take their daughter to every state to see America's greatest landmarks. Kasey also boasts quite the athletic resume. Not only is he a 2nd degree Black belt in Taekwondo, but also he has kicked field goals in both Denver's Mile High Stadium and Atlanta's Georgia Dome. In addition, he once teamed up with former FSU head football coach, Bobby Bowden, on the golf course and won $5 in a friendly wager.

Kevin Connors recruits talented individuals for corporate office and field roles in Retail, Wholesale and E-Commerce. Working with some of the country's top Private Equity and Venture Capital firms, Kevin successfully builds out portfolio company management teams. He specializes in developing long-term relationships with his clients and candidates by taking a consultative approach to recruiting and having a deep understanding of their businesses and needs. Prior to joining The Newell Group, Kevin had spent over 20 years in Sales, Marketing, and Business Development. But Kevin is not all business, outside of the office he is an avid golfer and is certified as a SCUBA instructor, traveling world-wide to some of the most beautiful dive spots known.

Paul has been a member of The Newell Group since July of 2022. A "transplant" from New Hampshire and with a bachelor's degree in Health, Fitness and Recreation, he brings a variety of career experiences from previous work opportunities in private Country Clubs to running the daily operations as the General Manager of a large commercial pool management company. He has hit the ground running from day one here and is excited to assist in connecting companies and employees together. He is always looking for opportunities to connect and would love to network with you!
Paul spends time with his wife, two children and two dogs and most days are filled with soccer practices and games all over the southeast. For those rare times where he is not on or at a soccer field, you can find him in front of a camera as an actor or spokesperson for either a movie, television or commercial!
Riley began his career in recruitment for heavy industrial engineering in 2008 before he graduated college. Upon graduating in 2010, Riley joined The Newell Group as a Project Coordinator on the O&P team. During his five years in that role, he was consistently ranked as one of the top five Project Coordinators in the North Atlantic Region for MRI Network. Riley was promoted to Account Executive of Medical Devices at The Newell Group in 2015. The following year, he took a job as a corporate recruiter, but quickly returned home at TNG to lead the O&P division. Riley's resume remains impressive, with more than 250 placements made nationwide demonstrating his dedication to both clients and candidates. He recently received a $2 million lifetime cumulative cash-in award after reaching that milestone in October of 2022.
Riley lives in Simpsonville, SC with his two dogs Arsenal and Ghost. When he's not working, he enjoys golf and the outdoors. He also remains a loyal cheerleader for the South Carolina Gamecocks. Riley graduated from Coastal Carolina University where he majored in Marketing and Finance. Fun fact - Riley is a distant relative to Judy Garland!

Verne is the Director of Recruiting, specializing in Procurement & Supply Chain Operations at The Newell Group. He places a wide variety of candidates from all over the U.S. and has been in the recruitment industry since 2012 before joining The Newell Group. Verne is originally from Ohio and graduated from Wapakoneta, OH which is the home of Neil Armstrong. Verne was a photographer for his local newspaper during his high school and college career at Wapakoneta Daily News. After getting his start in the newspaper and printing industry he then transitioned into a 28-year-long retail career which started when he was finishing up college. He stayed in retail until he began recruiting in 2012.
Some interesting facts about Verne are that he met Sam Walton in Dayton OH while opening a new Sam's Club. He is related to Fess Parker who played the lead in the TV Series Daniel Boone. Verne has played a hole of golf with Emmitt Smith, a Hall Of Fame running back for the Dallas Cowboys. He also met Tony Dorsett and has a signed football from him and Ron Springs. Verne is a huge Ohio State Buckeye and Cincinnati Bengals fan and enjoys many outdoor sports.
