Adrienne is the Administrative Assistant to the Executive Director. She assists commissary and office personnel as well. Adrienne handles resident appointments and records besides coordinating the campus calendar. Adrienne has many years of experience as a caregiver as well. She and her husband, Terry, value family, and besides those children who are a part of their immediate family, they have a number of young people over the years who have come to call them Mom and Dad.

Chase Thompson

Chase is a TBRI practitioner and a therapeutic counselor; he counsels with the young men from Westview and their families. He is also a trained EAGALA therapist working through Westview Family Services. Chase is a parent of three young children.

Doug Gonzalez

Doug Gonzalez serves as the Ranch Manager at Westview Boys' Home. He oversees the cattle herd, directs the show calf program (see Livestock Programs) on our ranch, and is the steward of our ranch land and the other ranching facilities on campus (see the Ranch page). Doug grew up as a boy at Westview Boys' Home, went on to serve in the United States Air Force, and, after his military service, worked as an aircraft mechanic. He and his wife, Dennise, returned to the Home in 1994 to serve as caregivers at Sweetwater House. Doug became a Certified Childcare Worker as a part of his work and training at Westview. After a number of remarkable years as caregivers, Doug took over the Ranch, and Dennise assumed responsibility for Donor Relations. Doug has been Westview's Ranch Manager since 2000. While managing the ranch, Doug has earned both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees at Liberty University. Doug is a passionate advocate for the Home, the boys, and the livestock programs on campus. He is also an experienced mentor of young men. Doug was awarded the Ed Deaver Service Award in 1996 for his outstanding service to the boys that make their home at Westview. He and Dennise have two adult children.

Dr. Ron Bruner

Ron is Westview's executive director. He has published two books and numerous articles about the spiritual formation of children and youth. Ron has four decades of experience with children and youth and nearly twenty years at Westview. He is also a father and grandfather. Dr. Ron Bruner serves as the Executive Director of Westview Boys' Home, a position he has held since October 1999. He has a lifetime of experience in mentoring, teaching, and training young people, along with decades of business and consulting experience. His experience connects well with his education; Ron has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Arts in Ministry from Oklahoma Christian University. He earned a Doctor of Ministry degree from Abilene Christian University, where he also did his Master of Divinity studies. Ron's education and experience have led to service in leadership roles. He is a member of the Oklahoma Nonprofit Council. Ron has represented Westview with OKCare (an organization of child care providers in the state of Oklahoma) and is a member of the Association of Youth Ministry Educators. Ron served as a board member of Network 1:27 (formerly the Christian Child and Family Services Association) from 2011 to 2017; he was the president from 2014 to 2016. He also served as a board member of Great Plains Leadership Training for Christ from 1995 to 2019. Ron is currently a member of the Compass Group of the Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits. The best days at Westview for Ron are those when young men seize the opportunity for transformation and move forward toward lives that are right with God, with themselves, with their families, and with their peers. Ron edited a book with Dr. Dudley Chancey designed for Christian parents of adolescents-Owning Faith: Reimagining the Role of Church and Family in the Faith Journey of Teenagers. This book was published by Leafwood Press in 2017. In 2015, he co-edited the highly-regarded book Along the Way: Conversations about Children and Faith with Dr. Dana Kennamer. He also contributed several chapters to that work as published by Abilene Christian University Press. Ron continues to study the effects of trauma on children who afterward come into foster and residential care. He also researches the spiritual formation of children, intergenerational faith transmission, ethics, and leadership. Ron has presented and published scholarly work in all of these fields. He regularly lectures on youth ministry and intergenerational ministry in churches, university classrooms, and training sessions with teammates at Westview. Ron, a native Oklahoman, married Ann Fairbanks in 1977. They have three adult children and six grandchildren.

In 2021, Eric joined the Westview team as our Manager of Programs in Central Oklahoma. He is based in our Westview Family Services Oklahoma City office. Eric oversees the various training programs and opportunities we present to professionals, families, and congregations in the central Oklahoma City area. He also coordinates our relationships with churches in that area. Eric grew up in Duncan, Oklahoma, and went to Oklahoma State University, where he earned a BS in Accounting. He is currently pursuing a Master's degree at the Harding School of Theology. After a brief business career, Eric and his wife, Shawnda, prepared to serve as missionaries in the Republic of Vanuatu. They served the people there from 2005 to 2020

John Moore

John Moore (Chip) has served Westview Boys' Home since 1995. As the Director of Development, John is responsible for all aspects of donor relations and grant management. He also works to facilitate church relations. John obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Cornerstone College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He earned his Master of Education degree from the University of Oklahoma in Norman, OK. His areas of professional interest include Brief Solution-Oriented Therapy, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Group Counseling Skills and Techniques, Anger Management, Integrated Pathways of Childhood Development, The Prepare Curriculum, Explosive and Difficult Children, Managing Non-Aggressive & Aggressive People. John has served as a committee member of the Safe School Advisory Committee at Hollis High School. He has been a Representative, Vice President and President, of the Hollis Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). He has also served as a deacon and an elder in the church. John was awarded the Ed Deaver Service Award in 2003 for his exemplary care for the boys at the Home. John is married to Sue Moore, Westview's Accountant; they have two adult children.

Josh manages social services for Westview and is a TBRI practitioner. He works daily to help the Westview team implement TBRI methodology. Josh has a decade of experience with at-risk youth. He is a church deacon and active father of two. Josh Birney is a CCW - Certified Childcare Worker, and CCT - Certified Childcare Trainer, State of Oklahoma. The Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development at Texas Christian University has certified Josh as a TBRIĀ® practitioner. He has also been trained by the National Resource Center for Youth Services as a trainer of the Residential Child and Youth Care Professional (RCYCP) curriculum. Josh also works to train caregivers in managing digital and social media. While daily working alongside the caregivers at Westview, Josh helps families, social workers, educators, and church leaders find help for young men at Westview Boys' Home. He handles applications, interviews, assessments, and plans of care for all young men who come to Westview. After a successful business career, Josh joined Westview Boys' Home first as a caregiver. After over seven years of effective care for young men in his care, Josh joined the administrative team. In the community, Josh serves as a deacon at the Childress Church of Christ. He also coaches youth league basketball.

Since 1995 Sue Moore has served as the Accountant at Westview Boys' Home. Sue has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska. She is responsible for staff payroll, accounts payable, and produces regular reports for management and the board of directors. Sue is our liaison with Westview's business vendors and independent auditors as well. In 2000, Sue was awarded the Ed Deaver Service award for her compassionate care for the young men on our campus. She is a Hollis Band Booster and served as a regular sponsor on school trips. Sue and her husband, Chip, have two children.

Terry Owens - COO

Terry Owens has an Associate of Arts in Business from Western International University; a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Colorado Technical University; and a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in mediation from Colorado Technical University. Additionally, Terry has the following certifications: Emergency Medical Technician, NREMT; LCCA - Child Care Administrator's License, State of Texas; CCW - Certified Childcare Worker, and CCT - Certified Childcare Trainer, State of Oklahoma. Terry has also been trained by the National Resource Center for Youth Services as a trainer of the Residential Child and Youth Care Professional (RCYCP) curriculum. In 2017, Terry completed the Nonprofit Management Certification Program (NMCP) through the Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits. Terry is trained, credentialed, and experienced in teaching the TBRIĀ® (Trust-Based Relational InterventionĀ®) model. Not only does he train Westview team members, but he has helped local educators gain an awareness of this proven and effective methodology. While daily working alongside the caregivers at Westview, Terry also oversees the campus at Westview Boys' Home. Terry has also cared for children at the Tipton Home and Sunny Glen Children's Home. In his career with children, he has served as a farm hand, caregiver, livestock program manager, transitional living program mentor, and campus manager. Westview is proud to have his many years of experience available to our young men.
