I have been a telecoms writer for over fifteen years. That includes eight years as editor of Telecommunications magazine (international edition) and three years as editor of Asian Communications. At Informa Telecoms & Media I specialised in mobile broadband and was the editor of WiMax Vision magazine. I also contributed regularly to Mobile Communications International, Informa's flagship telecoms title, and telecoms.com. I set up wielandmedia in 2009... As part of my freelance work I am a correspondent for The Economist Intelligence Unit (part of The Economist Group), regularly contributing news analysis to its Industry Briefing service (technology section)...
