Sunil Sapkota

Sunil is a talented and highly regarded chef within the Melbourne restaurant industry. His many years of experience include 10 years working under Chef Guy Grossi; seven years at Grossi's flagship venue Grossi Florentino and three years at his Ombra Salumi Bar. Sunil co-wrote and included recipes in the Ombra Salumi Bar recipe book. Prior to joining Albert Park Deli, Sunil spent two years as the Executive Chef at the Roasting Warehouse. Sunil brings talent, enthusiasm and experience to his role at the Deli…whether leading his team, creating new flavours or preparing old favourites, his passion is evident.

Suren Tambyah

You will notice Suren behind the coffee machine…always ready with a smile, happy to have a chat. He's passionate about beverages - especially coffee! Suren spent 19 years at Grossi Florentino honing his coffee craft and gaining invaluable hospitality experience. He was most recently Manager of the Cellar Bar. Suren's earlier experience includes a 5 star hotel in Sri Lanka following his graduation from Hospitality Management.
