BOOKS FOR ALL

Books For All (BFA) is a not-for-profit Trust working towards the betterment of less-privileged children, youth & women largely from the urban villages of Delhi- NCR. The Trust is engaged in setting up library-cum-creativity centres and installing wall hung libraries to make reading fun and learning joyous! Books For All also sponsors bright students for better schooling, provides career counselling and vocational training to first generation learners and has recently started a literacy programme to empower women... It all began when Pravin Bhasin and Kanchan Bhasin went to Government Primary School, Gejha Village in Noida, in 2009, to collect their voter ID Card. As Pravin got talking to the principal of the school, he offered to give story books and dhurries for the students and with the help of donations from family, friends and volunteers, dhurries were bought and books collected. The school offered a spare room for starting a library and on 30 th January 2010 our first library..
