CHERIE'S SUNSHINE DAYCARE - Key Persons
I've been married to my husband Tony since 1998. We have two wonderful daughters ages 20 and 15. My oldest is a Junior at Central Washington University and my youngest is in select soccer and plays on the High School JV team.
I was born in Vietnam; my father was in the military during the Vietnam War. I'm half Vietnamese and half Irish. My husband is half Irish and half Italian. With a military upbringing, I am very strict when it comes to manners and politeness. We are a diverse family that enjoys many family outings. I began taking care of small children when my oldest was a year old (18 years ago). I have worked as an infant caregiver (ratio of 8 infants to 2 adults), a toddler lead teacher (2-14 kids)and a Sunday school teacher. I was a nanny to a little boy that has Autism and helped him with basic daily functions. Being able to open my own family daycare has been a big blessing to our family. I have been an assistant soccer coach, PTA co-president and I am currently (2018) serving as a Deacon at our church.
