Dr. Jen Stock

I graduated in 2012 from the University of Guelph and joined Deer Park Pet Hospital in 2017. Areas of veterinary medicine that interest me are urgent care, surgery, and integrative medicine, but I do love all aspects of medicine. I am also certified in veterinary medical acupuncture. My favourite thing about the clinic is the amazing staff, who dote on our patients, and our amazing clients, who trust us with their pet's care. Fun fact about me, I am also a certified yoga teacher, and you can catch me teaching the occasional yoga class in Lacombe, where I live with my husband, 2 daughters, and dog Piper!

Dr. Katie Graves

Hello! My name is Dr. Katie Graves and I grew up on a cow calf farm just outside of Lacombe, Alberta. I went to primary school in Lacombe and then spent 3 years at Red Deer College (RDC), 1 year at the University of Saskatchewan (U of S) and 4 years at the University of Calgary (U of C). At RDC I divided my time between business and science classes. At the U of S I received my Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Economics. Lastly, I received my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the U of C. I really enjoyed my time at RDC and U of S because I was able to play on their collegiate volleyball teams. I then fully immersed myself in the veterinary medicine program and graduated in 2015 with my doctorate majoring in Ecosystem and Public Health. One special memory from veterinary school was getting to go to Tanzania, Africa on one of my fourth year rotations. In Africa, I spoke to the Maasai people about stomach worm infections in goats and sheep. After graduation I worked at a mixed animal practice in Ponoka for several years and then started working for Small Animal Clinics in Red Deer thereafter. During this time, I was also fortunate enough to accept an intern position at the World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland focusing on diseases that can be spread between animals and people (called zoonotic diseases).

Dr. Kelly Pasma

Dr. Kelly Pasma is a 2007 Graduate of the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph, Ontario. After graduation, she worked in a mixed animal practice in Drumheller for 5 years. In the summer of 2012 she moved to Red Deer to pursue small animal medicine. She has a special interest in Feline medicine, inspired by her own family of cats: Chopin, Clara, and Lili. In her spare time Kelly enjoys playing the flute, singing in choirs, and running with her Border Collie Sebastian. She looks forward to meeting the patients and clients of Deer Park Pet Hospital.
