I have been providing financial advice to clients since 1992. After training with Wheat First Securities, I joined RBC Centura Securities, now known as RBC Wealth Management, in 1994 as a Financial Consultant and also served on the firm's Investment Services Advisory Council. In 1996, I earned the designation of Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS) with the Institute of Wealth Management, Denver, Colorado and I am a member of the Investment Management Consultants Association. In 2007, I earned the designation of Accredited Wealth Manager (AWM) with the Estate and Wealth Strategies Institute at Michigan State University. I graduated from Wake Forest University with a BA; and received my graduate degree, MBA, from Winthrop University... Raised in North Carolina, I live with my wife in Cornelius, NC and have five children.
