Dr. Gaber is a professional engineer with nearly 30 years experience in environmental, chemical and biomedical engineering, project management and design, training and institutional development in Egypt and the Mediterranean region. He is the founding partner and current President of Chemonics Egypt. He has extensive experience in water and wastewater systems. Moreover, he has designed the approach and overseen the effort of the technical teams involved in an industrial waste pre-screening audit of over 150 public sector industrial factories throughout Egypt. Dr. Gaber was the Deputy Chief of Party and Technical Planning Advisor for Chemonics International USAID-funded Local Development II/Provincial Project. He has been involved in numerous activities providing support to industrial establishments to comply with environmental regulations.
Since 1993, he has served as senior policy and institutional development advisor in various policy making and planning committees. He is a professor of chemical and environmental engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University.

Amani Nadim has an extensive experience of over 20 years in the field of environmental management, with particular focus on: EIAs/ESIAs; due diligence and phase I and II site assessment investigations; hazard and risk analysis. Chem. Nadim has managed and carried out numerous EIAs/ESIAs for various sectors including: industry, oil and gas, infrastructure and energy. Chem. Nadim has in-depth knowledge of various industrial sectors and activities in Egypt, and has conducted a number of Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) and consequence analysis studies for chemical, petrochemical and petroleum refining processes, having been trained in risk assessment and using SUPECHEMS software developed by ioMosaic Corporation, a leading provider of safety and risk management consulting services in the USA.
Chem. Nadim has specifically exceptional experience in waste management, particularly industrial and hazardous waste management. She has contributed to the development of the national hazardous waste management system in cooperation with EEAA and the different concerned ministries, as well as draft policies and plans. She has also participated in the preparation and delivery of large number of training, awareness, and capacity building events for the different components of the hazardous waste management system.
Over the past 8 years, Chem. Nadim has added energy management to her areas of expertise, where she has managed and contributed to a number of studies, comprising: ESIA and environmental studies for over 15 photovoltaic plants in Hurghada, Zaafarana and Aswan, including the first plant of its kind in Egypt and a number of plants in the new planned PV park in Benban, Aswan; ESIA studies for wind farms in Ras Gharib; Investigating opportunities for Renewable Energy (RE) and Energy Efficiency (EE) at a touristic resort; Establishing a Waste to Energy (WTE) business line; Biomass scoping study for Egypt, among others. She has received training in Energy Efficiency by the UNIDO, as well as attended a "Certified Energy Manager" course. Chem. Nadim is a certified Environmental Consultant by EEAA in the fields of conducting and reviewing EIA studies, and management of hazardous substances and wastes.
Amina Soliman is a biologist who has experience participating in carrying out Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIAs); Biodiversity Impact Assessment and Biodiversity Action Plans; Ecological, physical and social baseline surveys; Critical Habitat Assessments; Solid waste management studies; Due diligence and site assessment, all comprising reporting and proposal writing. Amina's skills include field surveying and ecological statistical analysis. Her academic and research background comprises environmental management, habitat management, conservation biology, wildlife monitoring techniques, lake ecology and environmental aspects of renewable energy, as well as field surveys at intertidal and shallow sub tidal zones concerning echinoderms and mussels, birds monitoring techniques, juvenile sea turtles surveys and farming.
Amina has participated in the extensive study carried out for Burullus Protected Area to develop a Species Action Plan (SPA) and develop guidelines for re-vegetation and restoration techniques of habitats. She has carried out baseline research and field surveys for the biodiversity of El-Showeila Offset Area and contributed to the report assessment of El-Showeila as a potential protectorate. Amina has taken part in various environmental studies carried out for projects in the fields of Integrated Coastal Zone Management; Tourism; Industry; Renewable and Conventional Energy; Infrastructure; Oil and Gas, and Agriculture.

Dr. Abo El-Ata is currently a member in a number of National Committees dealing with various occupational and environmental health activities, as well as public health matters. Dr. Ahmed Zaki is a chemical and industrial engineering consultant with over 20 years of experience in the fields of: environmental and consultancy services for chemical, basic and intermediate industries; Health, Safety and Environment (HSE); environmental and radiology monitoring; and wastewater treatment. His vast experience encompasses measuring and monitoring compliance with environmental standards; as well as managing maintenance, procurement, installation, erection, commissioning, start up and production of chemical industries. Agrochemicals; petrochemicals; chemicals; fertilizers; aerosols, and insecticides are among his areas of expertise.
Dr. Zaki holds a professional diploma in in Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Control (OSHA), as well as a Professional Project Management Diploma (The American University in Cairo, 2013 and 2009). He has also received ISO 14001 Internal Auditor Program training. Dr. Zaki is a registered Consultant Engineer with the Egyptian Syndicate of Engineers in the field of basic and intermediate industries.

Dr. Dalia Nakhla has more than 20 years of experience as an environmental and energy management consultant. She is a Certified Environmental Impact Assessment Consultant and Solid Waste Management Consultant by the Egyptian Ministry of Environment. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the National Waste Management Regulatory Agency, Ministry of Environment and was responsible for formulation of the National Agricultural Waste Management Strategy. She was also the project manager and participated in a number of national environmental impact assessment studies related to different sectors including oil and gas, industry, solid waste, infrastructure and tourism. She is well acquainted with the recent environmentally sound technologies and practices. Dr. Nakhla is one of the few consultants in Egypt who perform quantitative Life Cycle Assessment studies and prepare Product Environmental Footprint studies.
Dr. Nakhla is also certified by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) as an Energy Management Systems National Expert. She is an expert in the area of environmental management especially environmental impact assessment. She aided in the introduction of Energy Management Systems in a number of energy consuming industries in Egypt according to the requirements of ISO 50001, including cement, petrochemical and ceramic industries. Moreover, she has participated in the design and implementation of several on-the-job training modules for environmental managers including Training of Trainers modules.
She is also registered in Egypt's Roster of Experts in the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) as I have contributed in the preparation of the first Biennial Update Report (BUR) for Egypt through preparation of the greenhouse gases inventory resulting from industrial processes. She also contributed in the preparation of Egypt's Low Emissions Strategy Framework. Dr. Gehad A. Abo El-Ata is a Professor of Occupational and Environmental Medicine at Cairo University Faculty of Medicine. His duties include educational, training and research activities. He published more than 90 papers in the Egyptian, regional, and international Journals. He supervised various environmental healthcare aspects at the Cairo University Hospitals from January 2009 to September 2013 during which his duties included planning, monitoring and follow up of several concerned disciplines, e.g. infection control, occupational health and safety as well as various environment-related fields. Dr. Abo El-Ata is also a project manager, team leader, consultant and researcher with over 30 years of experience in leading health, safety and environmental assessments throughout Egypt and abroad. He has extensive expertise in environmental waste management concerns, including design, implementation on integrated solid waste management systems and hazardous waste management as a part of healthcare waste management. Dr. Abo El-Ata provided technical assistance to numerous governorates and various economic facilities, including healthcare facilities on different occupational and environmental health related requirements, including hazardous waste management. He has vast expertise in training government inspectors, auditors and healthcare personnel on hazardous substances and waste management.
Dr. Abo El-Ata has frequently interfaced with international and local NGOs, government agencies, and private establishments' occupational and environmental health activities. He is currently, a temporary adviser to the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Gulf Countries' Cooperation Council (GCC) on occupational and environmental health issues. He issued a group of guidelines, codes of practice and training modules covering various aspects on occupational, environmental and public health concerns.

Dr. Korkor has more than 37 years of experience in the fields of energy and natural gas planning, conservation, pricing and environmental projects, studies and activities on both macro and micro levels. His record encompasses holding high management and consultancy positions at the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS), the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC), the Organization for Energy Planning (OEP) among other international and national energy concerned entities, including: Observatoire Mediterraneen De L'Energie (OME), Paris, France; African Petroleum Producing Countries Association (APPA); the United Nations Economic Committee for Europe (UNECE); the Egyptian Cabinet of Ministers and the World Energy Council (WEC). Mahmoud Omar is an environmental consultant / marine ecologist with a Masters' degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of Houston, Texas, United States. Preceding his master studies, he obtained Graduate Diplomas in Marine Biology and Ecology as well as Biochemistry and Physiology. His Bachelor degree was in Microbiology from Al-Azhar University. Mahmoud has recently joined Environics in September 2022. His previous experience includes Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIAs), Environmental Management Plans, Integrated Coastal Zone Managements (ICZM), Ecological and Social Baselines, Solid Waste Management studies, and Environmental health and Safety Audits, applied to different sectors including Tourism, Industry, Renewable and Conventional Energy, and Infrastructure. Dr. Elsobki is an Energy Management Advisor with over 30 years of experience in fields of energy management, efficiency and conservation, as well as integrated resource/demand planning, Demand Side Management (DSM) and tariff design; in addition to institutional and capacity building. He is the Former Executive Chairman of the New and Renewable Energy Authority (NREA) (2014 - 2016) and the Founding Managing Director of Egyptian Electric Utility and Consumer Protection Regulatory Agency (EgyptERA) (2001 - 2006), which regulates, supervises and controls all matters related to the electric generation, transmission, distribution and use of electricity.
Dr. Elsobki is the Former Technical Manager of the USAID 68 million US$ funded Energy Conservation and Environment Protection Project (ECEP) (US-AID project #263-0140) (1989 - 1995); that included carrying out energy conservation and environment implementations in the industrial and commercial sectors. He has been and currently is a member of several energy-related committees, and has served as a Consulting Member to the National Communication Plans. Raghda has over 20 years of experience in the Human Resources Management field. She currently heads the HR function at Youssef Allam Group. Her last full-time engagement was CEO HR Advisor for Nahdet Misr Publishing Group (2012 - 2016). Previously, between 2008 and 2012, she was the General Manager, HR in Majid Al Futtaim Properties, MAF Egypt; the market leader in shopping malls in Egypt and the Middle East. Raghda headed HR functions in several organizations like DHL Egypt; the market leader in the region in courier and shipping services, EFG-Hermes; the market leader in brokerage, corporate finance and asset management, and Giesecke & Devrient (G&D); the world's leading Smart Card technology & solutions provider. Throughout her long years of professional experience, Raghda demonstrated a track record of achievements, as she established and lead HR departments and ensured their efficient operations. Her experience encompasses designing and improving/upgrading processes to achieve better environmental performance. Mr. Hafez was the former Chief Executive Officer of the Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency from 1991-1997. He played a pivotal role in establishing the environmental policy in Egypt, and in developing the agency through extending its institutional responsibilities and strengthening its organizational structure and capacity. He has managed the formulation and early implementation of Law 4/1994, the first Law of the Environment in Egypt and supervised the formulation of the Egyptian Environmental Action Plan. In addition, he is a professional explorationist with over 40 years experience in the petroleum industry in Egypt and overseas. He was the former Vice Chairman for Exploration and Petroleum Agreements and Board Member at the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC). Mr. Sherif has over 30 years of experience in environmental management; policy formulation; institutional development, capacity building and training; public administration; EIA/ESIA; cleaner production; industrial compliance, and energy efficiency. As a former senior staff member of the Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency (EEAA) at a critical period of its development (1992-1999), he was closely involved in the formulation of environmental policies and management approaches, as well as communication and coordination with governmental bodies, industrial sector (regulators, investors and professionals) and civil society.
Moving to private practice since 1999, he has continuously contributed to the Egyptian environmental scene through participating in and supervising projects and assignments of various scales in different fields. Over the past decade, he has been working on projects and studies that are concerned with energy management, energy efficiency and renewable energy in the areas of policy formulation, subsidy reform, prospects and indicators, and technologies.
Mr. Sherif's experience encompasses contributing to developing the Egyptian EIA system at the institutional level, as well as supervising participating in major EIA/ESIA, and diverse environmental management studies for several sectors, including: oil and gas; infrastructure; energy; tourism; industry and mining. He is a Certified Environmental Consultant by EEAA in the fields of: Conducting and Reviewing EIA Studies, Management of Hazardous Substances and Wastes, and Environmental Compliance for Industrial Facilities.
