The Federal Insurance Ombudsman (FIO) of Pakistan is an independent and specialized institution established to provide a forum for the resolution of disputes between policyholders and insurance companies. As per provisions of Insurance Ordinance, 2000 & The Federal Ombudsmen Institutional Reforms Act, 2013, Federal Insurance Ombudsman operates to investigate the allegations of maladministration of insurance companies and decide the matter in just manner.
