DE-SPIKE™ is a whole-house surge suppression unit that is installed on the main electric circuit breaker panel in the home or business. A main advantage of installing a whole-house surge suppressor at your electrical main is that surge protection is extended to all electrical outlets and fixtures in the home or business. All major appliances or equipment such as refrigerators, washer, dryers, microwaves, copiers, computers and other expensive equipment are protected. There are many plug in type units on the market, but they offer only minimal protection and do not provide the whole-house protection that DE-SPIKE™ units provide.
