Oasys IT Consulting, LLC was founded in 2002. The company was started during a period when many other companies were going out of business. After the Y2K bubble had burst shortly after 2000 the company's founder, Walter Schoudel, found himself in a rapidly shrinking organization that went from roughly a 50 person company at it's peak down to a 4 person operation when it's remediation business dried up. This small group finally achieved profitability due in large measure to the burgeoning infrastructure and network security consultation where Walter had effectively kept clients coming back for more. Shortly thereafter the remaining 4 person group was acquired by a much larger 100 person hardware re-seller that was looking to diversify. About a year later the dot com bubble had finally burst and it wasn't long before the hardware resale business went out of business too...
