The company was first incorporated as JS Tan & Associates in 1994 with the aim to provide professional and quality civil and structural consultant services to the construction industry. The founder Mr. J S Tan has more than 30 years of extensive experience in both civil and structural projects. He believed in understanding the clients' needs and providing quality design and services. Seeing a niche market in this field and bearing the ‘good service' philosophy in mind, JS Tan & Associates was set up. In 2012 the form was corporatized and renamed as JS Tan Consultants Pte Ltd.
