Born and raised in Wellington, I have worked in a range of industries in the region and overseas. I was originally trained in early childhood and nannied in many different countries before I moved into teaching English to different nationalities and ages. Whilst overseas, I ran a halfway house in Cambodia for disadvantaged youths and enjoyed my time living and volunteering in this amazing part of the world. I have also completed a Graduate Certificate in International Health and attained a certificate in Accidental Counselling. I moved back to Wellington when I was pregnant with my son (my greatest achievement) to be closer to my family and friends after living overseas for ten years. I love the people of Wellington and the small community spirit. I also value the strong connection I have with the community members having grown up here.
