April Wolford joined UT Law in November 2022. As Associate Director of Admissions & Financial Aid, she is responsible for overseeing the financial aid unit of the department and all post-admission processes and strategies. She counsels prospective, admitted, and current students on financial aid and application matters, and she reports to the Director.
Wolford has been with the University since July 2016, having previously served as Assistant Director in the Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships after serving as a financial aid counselor. She has worked in financial aid since 2012 and holds a Master's degree in Business Ethics & Compliance.

Carol Anne Long serves as the office's primary employer liaison, maintaining relationships with employers and developing interview opportunities for students through the Career Center. She also provides advising assistance to students and alumni. Long has practiced civil and criminal defense litigation with two Knoxville law firms and spent the majority of her legal career as a judicial clerk for Judge Charles D. Susano, Jr. of the Tennessee Court of Appeals and Judge James Curwood Witt, Jr. of the Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals. She is a 2000 graduate of the College of Law and a 1997 graduate of UT Knoxville.

Christie Laird is based in Nashville and focuses on establishing and maintaining relationships between the College of Law and the middle Tennessee legal community. She works directly with legal practitioners to facilitate opportunities for students and alumni such as summer placements, permanent position openings, mentoring sessions, and networking events. She has practiced law for more than 20 years, most recently as the vice president and senior litigation counsel for a global payment solutions company. Previously, she served as a judicial clerk and a law firm associate. Christie is an alumna of the College of Law.

Elaine Eberhart joined UT Law as the senior director of advancement in Fall 2022. In this role, she works with the dean of the College of Law and the senior director of advancement along with faculty, fellow staff, and external constituents to support the traditions and mission of the College of Law.
Eberhart, a 1983 alumna of the College of Law, has more than 30 years of experience as a fundraiser and gift planner. Most recently, she has been the vice chair of the Department of Development for Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
She has also served as senior director of development, Planned Giving for Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Foundation; director of planned giving at the University of Alabama at Birmingham; director of development for the Southern Poverty Law Center; executive director of Gift Planning at the University of Pennsylvania; director of planned giving for Emory University's Woodruff Health Sciences Center; and director of development for Emory's Candler School of Theology.

Elizabeth Towe joined UT Law in August 2023. As Associate Director of Admissions & Recruitment, she is responsible for collaborating with the Director of Admissions to develop and execute recruitment strategies for maximizing applications and the matriculation of a highly qualified student body. Elizabeth also advises students about the application process, the basics of financial aid, and the law school experience at the University of Tennessee College of Law. She reports to the Director of Admissions.
Elizabeth graduated with a J.D. from UT College of Law in 2013, and spent ten years in private practice where she was a partner at Bernstein, Stair & McAdams in Knoxville, TN.
Ellen Cole joined UT Law in Spring 2017. She focuses on raising funds for the college through major gift fundraising and is also responsible for the college's annual giving campaign. She supports the alumni council and several special events throughout the year, including the College of Law class reunions and the Julian Blackshear Jr. Scholarship Gala.
Cole is a UT alumna, receiving her bachelor's degree in history in 1999 and her master's degree in communications in 2004. She has worked as the Children's Miracle Network program director for East Tennessee Children's Hospital and worked in development at the hospital from 2005 to 2017. She also worked in development at the East Tennessee Historical Society.

Kay Brown counsels students and alumni on a variety of career development issues, such as assessing skills and interests, preparing application materials, and creating job search strategies. Sarah Busse joined UT Law in July 2016. As director of admissions and financial aid, she is responsible for the planning, management, and implementation of law student recruitment, admissions, and financial aid. She reports directly to the dean and is responsible for the supervision of the admissions staff. She also frequently coordinates and communicates with the Admissions Committee.
Busse formerly served as the director of admissions programs and recruitment for Cornell University Law School, where she had been a member of the admissions team since 2004. Prior to that, Busse worked in recruitment for Cornell Law's Career Services Office and in communications for Cornell's Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management.

Stacy Lane has worked at three different universities as a staff member including Kansas State University, University of Wyoming and now at the University of Tennessee.
She began undertaking her college career as a non-traditional student in education at Hutchinson Community College where she attended with the help of a track and field scholarship. She later transferred to Manhattan Christian College and graduated with a bachelor's degree in management and ethics.
While working full-time, she attended Fort Hays State University and completed a Master of Liberal Sciences degree with an emphasis in organizational leadership.
Lane is active with P.E.O. a philanthropic organization that financially helps women continue their education. She also enjoys travel with her husband and being a mom to her three dogs.
