MAIA Design Studio is an Interior Architecture & Design firm, founded by Shruti Jaipuria in 2011. At MAIA we believe in creating spaces that tell a story, serve a function and offer an ‘experience'... We are a young energetic team and draw inspiration from the world around us, constantly questioning what we see and how it can be applied to the world of contemporary design. Nature, spirituality, mathematics, geometry, materials, texture, colour all provide us with an endless source of inspiration. Our work approach at MAIA demands detailed explorations in material, study of human behavior, and collaborations with artists, chefs and homeowners to create immersive experiences... At MAIA we aim to push the boundaries of design, and expand the possibilities of what can be done, and what has been done. Our designs are fresh, timeless and continuously evolving.
