Born and raised in Northern Ontario, Mr. James Ross completed Secondary School in 2003 before working towards his undergraduate degree in Economics, which he earned through Laurentian University in 2006. James' next challenge was Law School where he studied and trained at the University of Western Ontario graduating in 2009. James then attended Law School, where he studied and trained at the University of Western Ontario graduating in 2009. James articled with a full service law firm here in Greater Sudbury. He has experience representing client cases in various legal areas including civil litigation, personal injury, criminal law, corporate and real estate law as well as estate planning. He remained at that firm until he was called to the bar in 2010 and there after spent 3 years working with Conroy Trebb Scott Hurtubise LLP in Greater Sudbury Ontario honing his skills and experience. James joined Tomm Orendorff, Michael Gauthier and John Micheal Bray and the team at Orendorff & Associates, Sudbury's Personal Injury Lawyers in summer of 2013. The opportunity to help defend injury victims and their families was an attractive option, one that James values and looks forward to helping serve. James is the treasurer of the Sudbury District Law Association, he is a member of the Advocates Society and the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association and he is actively involved in the planning and coordinating of the Northeast Region Colloquium. James serves to motivate youth about the law profession by volunteering in High School Mock Trials and exposing youth to the Law and Justice System. John Michael Bray

John Michael Bray completed a Bachelors of Political Science at Laurentian University before entering Law School at the University of Ottawa (French Common Law Section). While completing his undergraduate degree, John Michael spent his 3rd year of study at the L'Institut d'Etude Polictique de Lillell in France where he focused on International Relations. Read more After successfully completing his Bachelor's degree in Political Science at Laurentian University in 2005, John Michael entered law school at the University of Ottawa and graduated in 2008. He was admitted to the Law Society of Upper Canada in 2009. While completing his undergraduate degree, John Michael spent a year overseas studying International Relations at L'Institut d'Etude Politique de Lille II in France. Since joining Orendorff & Associates, John Michael has continued to work on serious and catastrophic personal injury cases. Following his articling experience in southern Ontario with a large personal injury law firm, John Michael decided to return home to Sudbury to focus on his litigation career while serving both the French and English speaking communities. John Michael has contributed to the community in a wide variety of capacities. He is a board member with the Sudbury Food Bank, Childhood-Enfance (Breakfast Program for Children in local schools) and has served as President of the Sudbury District Law Association (SDLA). John Michael is a director of the Ontario Trial Lawyer Association. John Michael is at home in Northern Ontario. He has a love for the outdoors, including fishing and hunting. He is also participates in many team sports and enjoys food, culture, fine dining and travelling.

Thomas L.W. Orendorff

Mr. Thomas L.W. Orendorff graduated from St. Michael's College at the University of Toronto in 1974 before entering Law School at the University of Windsor. He was called to the Law Society of Upper Canada in 1979. Tomm's legal career has spanned over 30 years of practice, during which time he has been actively involved with the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association (member since 1992, Director since 2009), The American Association for Justice (since 1985), The Canadian Bar and Ontario Bar Association's (since 1979), the Advocate's Society and The Sudbury and District Law Association.
