Antonio Holloway

Mr. Holloway's professional career spans over thirty years in higher education, primarily in the area of Title IV financial aid administration where he has substantial knowledge in organizing and managing the operations and activities of federal, state, and private financial aid programs. He embraces the enrollment management concept where the enrollment management team (admissions, registrar, and financial aid) is an integral part of recruitment, enrollment growth, and retention. He has experience working with for-profit and private not-for-profit institutions. He is very active in training provided by the National Association of Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA) and The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB), where he has served before on committees with both organizations. He currently serves on a diversity and inclusion committee with the Texas Association of Financial Aid Administrators (TASFAA). In addition, he has over ten years of direct experience in Human Resources. He is a member of Delta Mu Delta and Kappa Gamma Pi honor societies.

Ashley Hu

Mrs. Hu went on to build a career with her successful restaurants that ran in Austin Texas. Her restaurants were one of the best Asian restaurants in town, and served many people with different ages, races, and social groups. Because of that, she is well connected with local Asian and other communities. After she decided to retire from the restaurant business, she still able to provide many constructive suggestions and help university to set up things around.

David J. Cibrian

  • CEO and Co - Chief Investment Officer of American Triple
Mr. Cibrian is the CEO and Co-Chief Investment Officer of American Triple I Partners. He's responsible for developing and directing overall business strategies; building trusted relationships with asset and investor partners; leading high-quality investment decisions; and enforcing adherence to compliance, legal, and operating guidelines and policies. Mr. Cibrian has served in a variety of roles during his career - lawyer, accountant, corporate executive, and investment professional. He was formerly a managing director with Brevet Capital, a New York City-based investment firm. He was also a CPA with Ernst & Young. In addition, he was a practicing international and corporate attorney for 25 years. Mr. Cibrian is currently on the Board of Mirage Energy Corporation, a start-up developer of natural gas storage facilities outside of the United States. He previously served on the Board of Onko Solutions, a development-stage medical device company. Mr. Cibrian is also a past member of the Board of Trustees at the University of the Incarnate Word. Additionally, he's a former member of the Texas Finance Commission and the Texas Credit Union Commission. Mr. Cibrian holds a Juris Doctor with honors from the law school at Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with honors from Loyola Marymount University.

Dr. Adreain Henry

Dr. Adreain Henry is the fourth president of Mercy College of Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa. Previously, Dr. Henry was named the Chief Academic Officer and Associate Provost for Hallmark University in San Antonio, Texas, where he also served as the Dean of Arts, Sciences, Graduate Studies, and Research.

Dr. Louis J. Agnese, Jr - President

Job Titles:

Dr. Louis J. Agnese, Jr. is the second president in the history of Texas Health and Science University (THSU) in Austin, Texas. He succeeded Lisa Lin, who founded THSU in 1990 and retired in 2019. Dr. Agnese previously served as the eighth president of the University of the Incarnate Word (UIW), a private university in San Antonio. Upon his retirement from UIW in 2016, he was named President Emeritus and Emeritus member of the UIW Board of Trustees in honor of his historic 32-year tenure as president.

Gary Henry

  • Member of the Founding Family of Schlitterbahn Waterparks
Mr. Henry was a co-owner and a member of the founding family of Schlitterbahn Waterparks. He oversaw the management of the companies, and in 2019 oversaw the sale of the waterparks to Cedar Fair Ltd, a publicly-traded entertainment company. Along with his parents and siblings, Mr. Henry grew Schlitterbahn from a small resort on the banks of the Comal River in Texas to the most awarded waterpark and resort brand in the world. He had performed a variety of jobs at Schlitterbahn during his career, from building the iconic castle at the company's flagship park to directing the growth and development of a company that has entertained millions of guests since its inception. Mr. Henry's expertise was in finance and development. Through his leadership, Schlitterbahn had grown to include the most successful waterpark and resort operations in the industry. Schlitterbahn became the home to the first Flow Rider - an inland surfing ride - and the world's first uphill water coaster, the Dragon Blaster. His commitment to family-focused entertainment had shaped the company to break the traditional theme, park-based entertainment model. Mr. Henry has a BBA in Accounting from the University of Texas and is a retired Certified Public Accountant. He previously served on the Board of Trustees at the University of the Incarnate Word. Mr. Henry is now retired and enjoying his time with his family and especially his five grandchildren.

Kathy Sosa

Katherine Sosa is an independent marketing, and political design consultant and artist. She was the only woman on George W. Bush's gubernatorial race in 1998, his presidential campaign in 2000, and her re-election bid in 2004. Her creative work has earned national awards for advertising excellence in both television & print. Current clients include Texas Dow Employees Credit Union, Public Service Credit Union, and Sul Ross University. Prior to forming Sosa Consultation & Design with her husband, Lionel, Kathy served as president of Garcia LKS, Southwest's largest independent Hispanic ad agency, which she founded as KJN in 1987. In her over twenty years in marketing, most of them as an ad agency principal and entrepreneur, Kathy has worn a number of hats, among them strategist, planner, creative director, and copywriter. In addition to commercial advertising experience on accounts from Dr. Pepper and Mexicana Airlines to Sî TV and Budweiser, she is experienced in both education-related marketing, and public service communications, and is a veteran of over 25 political media campaigns. Prior to forming Sosa Consultation & Design with her husband, Lionel, Kathy served as president of Garcia LKS, Southwest's largest independent Hispanic ad agency, which she founded as KJN in 1987. Kathy holds bachelor's and master's degrees in political science, both from St. Mary's University in San Antonio. With education an important focus for Kathy, she currently serves on the Generation Texas Board of Directors. She was appointed by former Governor George W. Bush to the Children's Trust Fund of Texas Council, and by Governor Rick Perry to the Founding Board of The Texas Conference for Women. Kathy was named by Inc. magazine as an Entrepreneur of the Year. A renowned artist, Kathy was commissioned by the Texas Women's Conference to do a portrait of keynote speaker Martha Stewart, to whom the artist personally presented the work. She received national recognition for her traveling exhibition "Huipiles: a Celebration", which debuted at the Mexican Cultural Institute in Washington, D.C. as part of the Smithsonian Latino Center's 2007 summer season before traveling to the Museo Alameda in San Antonio in 2008. 2009. Currently, she mounts shows in New York City and Tulsa. Her work has been featured on CNN, in FiberArts Magazine, in Skirt! San Antonio Woman, Country Lifestyle, Destinations, and is available in San Antonio through AnArte Gallery and the Regalo Gift Gallery at the Museo Alameda. She is also represented by galleries in Boerne, Texas, and Charlotte, North Carolina.

Lionel Sosa - Chairman

Mr. Sosa is CEO a full-time portrait artist and marketing consultant. He founded Sosa Bromley Aguilar and Associates, which became the largest Hispanic advertising agency in the United States. Its clients included Fortune 500 companies such as Coca-Cola, Anheuser-Busch, Proctor & Gamble, and American Airlines. Mr. Sosa currently serves as an advisor to the president of Texas A&M University-San Antonio. He previously served on the Board of Trustees at the University of the Incarnate Word and on the Board of Regents of The Texas A&M University System. He served on the Boards of Sesame Workshop (creators of Sesame Street), ACT (American College Testing), and the Public Broadcasting System. Time Magazine named Mr. Sosa one of the 25 most influential Hispanics in America while NBC.com named him one of the five people in the U.S. who are "The Keepers of the Latino Culture." In recognition of his many contributions to higher education, he was awarded an honorary doctorate degree by the University of the Incarnate Word.

Maoyi Cai

Dr. Cai's professional career in biomedical sciences spans nearly 30 years, and includes distinguished service in China, Canada, and the United States. After completing his Bachelor of Medicine degree he practiced as a physician in the Shanghai Medical University Hospital before immigrating to North America. Dr. Cai has served as a board member of the Acupuncture Committee of Alberta, Canada, and also as the Dean of Academic Affairs at Alberta College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. He has taught a variety of biological science courses at colleges and universities in Mexico and Texas. He is a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine of the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Dr. Cai joined the faculty of Texas Health and Science University in 2006. He has served as Academic Dean at Texas Health and Science University since 2008.

Michael Agnese

Mr. Agnese is an in-house attorney with Cedar Fair Entertainment Company. His responsibilities include matters related to contracts, real estate, and other in-house legal and business matters. Prior to joining Cedar Fair in 2022, Mr. Agnese operated his own law firm from 2019 - 2022 and worked as general counsel for Schlitterbahn Waterparks and Resorts from 2014 - 2019. He also worked in the commercial real estate industry prior to his time with Schlitterbahn, managing industrial, office, and retail assets, with responsibilities that included portfolio management, capital project, operational budgeting, financial reporting, and due diligence matters. Mr. Agnese is active in several local organizations. These activities include serving as the President of the Children's Advocacy Center of Comal County and serving as a member of the New Braunfels Downtown Board. He's also a volunteer with Communities in Schools of South-Central Texas.

Michael Beucler

Mr. Beucler presently serves as Principal and CEO of Beucler Properties and BFLP Finance, L.L.C. He's also the co-founder and CEO of Devils River Bourbon Whiskey ("DRBW"). He has more than thirty years of experience in global real estate development, construction, banking, and financial services. He previously co-founded FAS Construction Management, Inc. ("FAS") in 1995, and which he led until its sale in 2006. FAS provided in excess of $10 billion of construction risk management services to more than 300 Real Estate Lenders, Developers, and Corporations, and completed multiple projects in 47 states and numerous foreign countries for companies including Bank of America, Wells Fargo, SouthTrust Bank, Colonial Bank, Compass Bank, GE Capital, Textron Financial, Crow Family Holdings, and Home Depot. He presently holds board directorships for several companies and previously served on the Board of Trustees at the University of the Incarnate Word. Mr. Beucler has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Texas Lutheran University.

Mr. Eric Chen

Mr. Eric Chen is a proud graduate of the University of the Incarnate Word with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Mr. Chen has extensive deal structuring and business development experience in Greater China and the United States. Mr. Chen has spent most of his career in the automotive industry in various business and corporate development roles which involved securing lithium battery purchase agreements, investing in electric vehicle companies, forming a joint venture in the United States, valued at over 100 million USD and structuring agreements with Fortune 500 companies such as FedEx and Ryder.

Ronald W. Meyer - CFO

Mr. Meyer, a native of San Antonio, is a Certified Public Accountant who passed all four parts of the CPA examination on his first attempt in 1991. He joined a local public accounting firm the following summer. He is a member of the Austin Chapter of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, and a frequent speaker for such groups as the Austin Young Lawyers Association, Southwest Region of the National Society of Professional Engineers, South Texas Youth Soccer Association, Texas Association of Builders, and the Texas Society of Professional Engineers. He is the founder and Managing Member of Ronald W. Meyer, P.L.L.C., based in Austin, Texas. His areas of responsibility include preparation or review for individual, corporate, partnership, estate, trust, homeowner association, and non-profit organization tax returns.

Wen Huei Chen
