Judy Pendergast - CEO

At a very early age Judy developed a pride in her country. She grew up in a household where her father was a US Marine in WWII serving as an MP, one brother served in Morocco in the US Navy and her oldest brother served in the US Army in Vietnam. One of her earliest memories was the day her brother took her out to buy her the popular doll, Mrs. Beazley, this was the day before he left for Vietnam. A tour in which he received a Purple Heart. Judy has a diversified background beginning with selling cars, managing all operations of a small used car dealership, becoming the Finance and Insurance Manager of two new car dealerships, Branch Banking including Loan Officer, Manager and Retail Banking Officer, assistant Comptroller of a mid-sized telecommunications firm, instructing women and special needs children in Martial Arts and Self Defense and teaching Mathematics. She has also been trained in Mediation and Conflict Resolution. She has enjoyed the various positions and experiences because the common thread throughout has been the ability to work with and help people solve problems which is truly her passion. One of her goals is to provide opportunities for on site wellness seminars focusing on women's self defense and situational awareness Judy studied Solar Engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder, earned a Bachelors Degree in Mathematics from Russell Sage College, a Masters Degree from The George Washington University and earned the rank of 1st Dan Black Belt in Taekwando. Judy lives in Northern Virginia with her husband and two daughters and is a strong supporter of the both the Arthritis Foundation and American Juvenile Arthritis Organization (AJAO). She is an avid Boston sports fan and enjoys her Taekwando training.

Tom "TP" Pendergast - COO

TP has managed diverse teams of contractor and Government representatives for over 25 years. At MTSI he held the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) and was responsible for leading all customer support operations out of 9 geographical locations in the US and Europe. TP has been responsible for financial, contract, program, technical, and personnel management for MTSI Prime and subcontracts. For the majority of his career he has provided onsite expertise to clients in areas ranging from technology insertion to force integration. He has supported the following mission areas: Electronic Warfare, Air and Missile Defense, Intelligence and Information Operations. As COO, Tom led the growth of customer support operations from 2010 to the 2013. Under his guidance, MTSI grew from 370 to 530 employees (in 9 physical offices across the US and Europe) and from $62M in revenue to $100M in revenue in 2013. Before assuming the COO role, Tom served as Group Lead for the Intelligence, Space and Information Solutions Group, specializing in intelligence analysis and rapid prototyping of space and information solutions for the DoD. Tom was the Assistant Group Lead for the Acquisition and Technology (AT) Group, providing engineering and analysis expertise to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) and a Senior Analyst within MTSI's AT Group, guiding technology insertion and concept of operations development for missile defense systems at MDA. Prior to MTSI, he served as a Senior Analyst at HJ Ford, where he applied his modeling and simulation expertise to requirements development and demonstration planning for major air and missile defense weapon systems for the Joint Theater Air and Missile Defense Organization (JTAMDO). In 1994, Tom founded Simulation Support, Inc. and served as the company's Chief Executive Officer, doubling the size of the firm, from 3 to 6 individual and $600K to $1.2M in revenue, in less than 2 years. He transitioned ownership to the remaining partners to pursue a diversified growth and customer base strategy. He also served as an Associate at Booz Allen and Hamilton conducting modeling, simulation, and analysis for the Air Force Studies and Analysis Agency and an Operations Research Analyst at Electronic Warfare Associates, developing a Surface-to-Air Missile model to assess detection and counter-counter measure algorithms for OUSD's Tactical Platform Survivability initiative. At the US Army Concepts Analysis Agency, he started his career running campaign-level simulation models and conducting statistical analyses to assess USA force structure effectiveness. Tom also served on the MTSI Board of Directors, was the Organizational Conflict of Interest Committee Chairman and was a key member of the Compliance Committee and was a member of Renaissance Executive Forums: a leadership development and peer advisory group. He holds a BS in Mathematics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and MS in Operations Research Management Science from The George Mason University. Tom lives in Northern Virginia with his wife and two daughters and is a strong supporter of the both the Arthritis Foundation and American Juvenile Arthritis Organization (AJAO). He is an avid Boston sports fan and enjoys weight lifting and road biking.
