YUSUF BARAN

As of November 28, 2018, Dr. Baran is the President of the İzmir Institute of Technology and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of İzmir Technology Development Zone. Additionally, since June 21, 2022, he has been a member of the board of directors of the Interuniversity Board (ÜAK), and as of April 27, 2023, he serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Bilişim Vadisi AŞ. Prof. Dr. Yusuf Baran's research areas focus on cancer molecular biology and genetics, science and technology policies, and science diplomacy.
