Claudio is a forest engineer with a bachelor's degree from the University of Chile and a master's degree in Engineering and Environmental Management from the Institut Supérieur d'Ingénierie et Gestion de l'Environnement (Paris, France). He has over 20 years of experience in environmental impact assessment, environmental audits of infrastructure projects, energy and civil works, and natural resource and forestry management.
At Stantec, Claudio works with mining and electricity generation companies to provide relevance consultations, complete environmental impact studies and declarations, baseline studies, and social-environmental audits, and obtain environmental permits. He's especially passionate about-and experienced in-sustainable business and corporate management with an emphasis on environmental matters, and climate change prevention.
Although technical skills are a must, Claudio strongly believes that excellent social and communication skills are key to success on projects.

With more than 10 years of experience as a hydrogeologist, and after having led the Water Resources area for four years, Danny assumed the role of business development manager and Mining sector leader for our team in Lima, Peru, in 2019. In this role, Danny oversees looking for new opportunities and new clients, maintaining good relationships through continuous communication before, during, and after providing services. These relationships ensure that we're delivering the best possible services to our clients, while also maintaining and increasing sales for the Mining business line in Peru and the region.

Dr. Naji is the country manager for Bahrain and Kuwait, responsible for directing operational activities, client relationships, and business development. He brings extensive experience in program management for mega infrastructure programs from early project development stages, project identification, and master planning, through to different phases of design and construction.
During his career, Naji has partnered with both private and public clients as well as funding agencies and international development banks. He is a chartered civil engineer, member of the Institute of Civil Engineers in the United Kingdom, project management professional (PMP), member of the Project Management Institute, and holds a PhD in management and water resources. Naji takes pride in the successful delivery of a spectrum of iconic multi-billion USD programs and projects in more than 15 countries across the Middle East, Europe, and Africa.

Luis has a deep appreciation of how mining underpins modern life, and he strategizes beyond the confines of box-checking regulatory standards to create long-lasting solutions. A natural leader, he's managed teams of more than 300 people to meet a common goal. Luis also led several international multidisciplinary projects, balancing priorities from contractors, work teams, clients, and other stakeholders. He's also proficient in both English and Spanish, making him an undeniable asset on teams around the world.

For María Helia, a contract management coordinator, success means seeing the big-picture down to the smallest detail. She is responsible for reviewing all contracts and subcontracts, within the bid process and awarding, in our Santiago, Chile, office. She also serves as the contact between the corporate legal area and the project office. As well as overseeing the development and initiation of contracts, she also prepares amendments and follow ups. Another part of her due diligence procedures is verifying the accreditation of any suppliers.

Steve is Stantec's chief practice and project officer, responsible for managing the strategic positioning, contractual elements, and governance of Stantec's largest projects while overseeing alternative project delivery for the Company. He also oversees the efficient operation of Stantec's corporate Functional Services Teams, who focus on advising and enabling the business.
The best piece of advice Steve ever received from a client was "don't surprise me." He's applied this practical knowledge to client relationships throughout his more than 35 years of experience in engineering, project management, and business management in Sweden, Chile, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada.
An expert on the topics of project management and public private partnerships, Steve has presented to organizations and conferences throughout North America and has lectured at the University of British Columbia, the British Columbia Institute of Technology, and Penn State University. He's also adept at navigating Stantec through the P3 project implementation on big endeavors such as the South Fraser Perimeter Road project.
Steve currently serves as a director on the National Research Council (NRC) advisory board. His board service over the years includes Providence Health Care, the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies - Canada (ACEC-Canada), and ACEC - British Columbia.
