Ashley Phillips - CEO

As CEO and member of the HomeServe Executive Committee, I am privileged to lead the CET business. The heart of our business is our people, delivering for our clients and customers 365 days a year supported by our leading claims technology platform. As a business, I want us to continue to grow whilst pushing the boundaries of innovation, developing our people to be the best they can be and lead the industry on customer service with a clear road map on how we better our ESG credentials. Prior to taking these roles, I was Managing Director for Orsted, the global leader in offshore wind power. Having spent 15 years in senior roles within energy retail across Europe, I believe sustainability should be at the heart of every organisation's strategy. Whilst not an easy journey, it is one that I hope over time CET can lead on within the Home Emergency claims industry bringing benefits for our clients, customers, and our employees. Working in partnership with our insurance and underwriting clients has been a key reason for our growth. I believe that a true partnership approach will allow us to continue to innovate our technology, to continue to drive excellent customer experience and continue to evolve the services we offer in the market to become the supplier of choice in all the markets we operate in.

Colin Blair - CFO

I joined CET in May 2022, as their Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In terms of my background, I am an experienced Chartered Accountant with extensive experience across insurance, energy, and telecommunications sectors. In my previous role, I was Head of Finance for OVOs Non Energy retail consumer products (over 0.5m customers) across Home Services, Broadband and Smart Home divisions. My main responsibilities were working closely with the leadership teams on key strategic and commercial areas whilst leading the Finance, Data & Insight departments covering key areas such as financial planning & reporting, business partnering, budgeting, business KPI performance, and product pricing governance Prior to joining OVO, I worked for Sky Plc for over 6 years in Commercial Finance and Reporting functions, developing strong commercial awareness, leadership, financial planning and business partnering skills whilst gaining experience across Home Services & Supply, Sales & Marketing and Contact Centres. In my final role, I was the Financial Controller in commercial finance supporting the leadership team in managing budgets for Change, Billing and Cross-Sell RTMs whilst managing a team of qualified accountants. I am data driven and commercially aware and keen to utilise the skills and experience I have gained to support Ashley and the Leadership Team on growing the CET business and creating a culture that focuses on our Customers, People, and Technology innovation.

Jonathan Brewer

Having joined the CET in April 2019, Jonathan is responsible for leading our technology strategy and IT functions. He has driven change to improve customer experience and satisfaction throughout his career - most recently, managing the development of the SIMPLIFi product for CET. Jonathan has built both in-house and outsourced development teams, often blending offshore partners with local talent. He is passionate about building cloud-native products and using the best approaches to software delivery. He is a huge advocate of Agile with SCRUM and loves the constant learning he gets from working with his fantastic team. Given the success of SIMPLIFi, Jonathan has built a dedicated in-house SIMPLIFi development team, bringing together specialists in the range of technologies it employs. This positions CET as one of leading tech-enabled operators in the Insurance Services space.

Louise Church

Louise has been involved in the claims management industry for over 15 years having started her career as a data analyst for a major loss adjuster. After spending several years working with Underground Services companies, in 2016 Louise co-founded a business specialising in Drainage Investigation and Repair. The business was subsequently acquired by CET when Louise was appointed as Business Director working with key clients analysing data to deliver performance. Away from work, Louise enjoys travelling, tasting food and spending time with her friends and family.

Paul Screen

Paul joined CET in 2019 with over 15 years' experience in operational management having previously held key directorial leadership roles within Ideal Boilers, Carillion and Homeserve. Being a firm believer in understanding the foundations of a home emergency Paul holds both Gas Safe and OFTEC qualifications. He is a strategic thinker and has a record of turning strategy into sustainable delivery plans. He believes exceptional business results come from delivering excellent customer service through engaged and empowered teams. Whilst relaxing outside of CET, healthy body healthy mind, Paul enjoys keeping fit, walking and plays principle euphonium in a brass band.

Paul Wozencroft - Chairman

Paul has been actively involved in the claims management industry for more than 25 years. He has vast experience of the water drainage and home emergency sectors, having worked with insurers, loss adjusters and their supply chains. He is a firm believer in the strategic outsourcing of services within the industry and recognises that technology-led collaborations can yield successful partnerships; as long as they add value to the customer experience. Paul was appointed Managing Director of CET Property Assurance in April 2016. He has a proven track record of developing and launching products and services that have longevity within the insurance sector and is a supporter of inspirational leadership. Paul is also former Chairman of the Future Water Association, a not-for-profit organisation supporting innovation within the water industry supply chain. When he is away from his busy work schedule, Paul is an avid gardener and can often be found relaxing in his greenhouse.
