AARONATHERAPY

I have always been into organic/holistic/natural anything, especially after my twins were born. Working full time and raising twins is no small adventure but every so often I would think to myself "I wish I were as creative with crafts as I am in my profession"... I love to cook and bake and love buying soaps at the craft fairs. One day I decided to give it try with melt and pour glycerin soaps. That was easy and fun but not exactly the "thing" I was looking for. I had heard that making cold process soap was "dangerous" because of the use of lye and that this was really difficult. I will say that one does need to be careful but it's only as difficult as reading a recipe and my mom always said, "if you can read, you can bake" so I read a few books on soaping, watched a bunch of YouTube videos and viola! I made my first batch of cold process soap. Now I make a batch of soap a couple of times a week. I sit in my room in our basement, play music and experiment with colors, scents, oils..
