Alexander "Rocky" Nawrocki - CEO

Focusing on technology and the international development infrastructure (fluent in 7 languages), Dr. Nawrocki brings more than 20 years of technology leadership, management and industry experience in many areas. He has broad based CEO and Board level experience. Dr. Nawrocki is a founding member of the Java-Consortium, is active in several other technology standards boards, and chairs various technical and advisory committees. Dr. Nawrocki was an early investor in Proximetry which provides network and performance management solutions for wireless networks to enable network operators to visualize, provision, and actively manage their wireless networks from one centralized location and Neubloc, a US-based (San Diego, California), outsource, software development, design, and testing firm that combines a unique blend of onshore and offshore resources to a client base worldwide. He is co-owner of Ameritege Technology Partners which was founded in 1999 as a private equity firm specializing in software business acquisitions. Formed by two successful software industry executives that have run both private and public software companies, Ameritege is a privately held firm that has successfully acquired or made substantial investments in twelve businesses including JB Systems, Inc., Assist Cornerstone Technologies, Inc., UTS Global®, CWTI, the SoftWindows® product line from Insignia Solutions, Inc.

David Kramer - CFO

Dave is a seasoned Chief Financial Officer of over 25 years' experience, at every dollar level from start-up to over $100 million in sales. He's been a full time CFO in high tech, biopharma, and medical devices, all in growth modes. Much of Dave's recent work has been with small companies reaching for scale. His goal is to help entrepreneurs understand how their financials can be improved and how to plan for growth, leading to what he calls "fiscal fitness." His success has come through a breadth of thinking that includes a company's entire enterprise processes, from R&D through manufacturing, to marketing and sales. He is the founder and principal of Outsource CFO Services, where he currently provides financial advisory services to a range of companies, both investor-funded and owner-operated. His engagements have included part time and full time CFO positions in informatics software, professional services, consumer product accessories, health care IT, electronics manufacturing, alternative energy, and biotech specialty chemicals. Dave's corporate CFO positions have included Gen-Probe, Inc., a developer, manufacturer and international marketer of diagnostics products, which he helped grow from $5 million to $120 million in sales. While there, he also served as CFO for an affiliated start-up biopharma, Chugai Biopharmaceuticals, Inc. In other CFO positions, he helped raise $38 million in venture capital for Anadys Pharmaceuticals and helped complete a reverse merger onto the NASDAQ for Somanta Pharmaceuticals. Earlier in his career, Dave held financial executive positions at an electronics start-up and a mid-sized Fujitsu software subsidiary. He is active in several volunteer organizations, including CONNECT Springboard, as a financial domain expert for nine years, Chairmen's Roundtable, as a Board member, and the local Harvard Business School Alumni Club, as a lecturer in finance for management development courses. Dave holds a BA, cum laude, from Yale, and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.

Gary is an entrepreneurial CEO with over 20 years of start-up and leadership experience in a diversity of industries for B2B and B2C. Fueled by his passion for business and marketing, he has started and managed several companies over the past 20 years in different sectors, including e-learning, mortgage, nutrition, publishing, lead generation, advertising and marketing. He is a strategic thinker who applies outside the box marketing strategies to drive dramatic success in sales and distribution. He has a proven track record of quickly developing, communicating, and implementing successful strategic and tactical plans, assembling high performance teams, and providing leadership and strategic guidance from concept to implementation. Gary is currently the CEO of Valuestream, a marketing strategy consulting firm specializing in business growth optimization. Gary specializes in a customer-centric marketing strategy called MVC marketing that's designed to drive business growth by optimizing customer acquisition as well as other key components in the marketing process. Prior to his current role as CEO of Valuestream, Gary was the founder and CEO of Podclass, a global e-learning platform that enables people to teach and learn online and within Facebook. Podclass was launched in 2007 with a vision toward transforming higher learning and enabling more people to teach and learn globally via web and mobile devices. In 2008, Podclass was one of the first 10 companies chosen by Facebook to receive their fbFund grant. Gary started and served as CEO of Active Health for seven years prior to starting Podclass. At Active Health, Gary built the company from the ground up, including sourcing the development and formulation of custom nutritional supplement products, developing sales and marketing strategies starting with traditional offline channels and later online channels. He led the expansion of the product line to 12 and outsourced the development of ActiveHealth.com and developed the entire online sales channel for the company.

Gerald "Rocky" McMurray

Rocky McMurray has an expansive technology leadership background encompassing the entire spectrum of product development, engineering, manufacturing, business development, sales and lifecycle support. He is passionate about solving critical problems with cutting-edge information technology solutions, including artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML) and Internet of Things (IOT) technologies. Most recently he was at Red Hat focusing on the migrating enterprise software systems to modern cloud-native designs including microservices and containers being orchestrated through Kubernetes. He also oversaw consulting engagements to adapt DoD cultures to a DevOps contruct. Before that he was at Oracle where he was focused on helping the Intelligence Community and Navy solve their unique challenges with a mixture of big data (NoSQL), relational database, middleware and cloud technologies. Rocky is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy where he studied Economics and General Engineering. He also holds two Masters of Science Degrees in Systems Engineering and Financial Management from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey. After graduation from the Academy he went to flight school and was designated a Naval Flight Officer in 1994. He made deployments to Middle East as a carrier aviator and was the Officer in Charge of the Strike Planning Cell for Carrier Strike Group One during the beginning of OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM. After completing graduate school, he was re-designated as an Aerospace Engineering Duty Officer and held hardware and software engineering and program management leadership positions at the Naval Aviation Systems Command (NAVAIR) and the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR). These positions included systems designed for mission planning, cruise missile command and control, software defined radios, GPS navigation, data center consolidation and software application rationalization. Rocky resides in Carlsbad, CA with his wife, Dr. Sarah McMurray and their two daughters.

Honorable Milton L. Lohr

Mr. Lohr has over 40 years of extensive experience as a Research and Development engineer, entrepreneur, business executive and U.S. Government Official covering a broad range of high technology, defense and commercial systems. His experience includes starting new high technology companies with activities in corporate development, venture capital, international partnering and has served on the Board of Directors of high technology, public and private corporations. He was appointed to the State's Defense Conversion Council by Governor Wilson, and chaired the Capital Formation Committee. This Committee received a Model of Excellence Award from the office of Advocacy of the Small Business Administration for its contribution to Venture and Seed capital development. He served as the first Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition in both the Reagan and Bush administrations, with responsibility to assist in overseeing DOD's major Acquisition and Technology Programs, International Programs and U.S. Arms Control Compliance activities. He also served as U.S. Acquisition Representative to the NATO Conference of National Armament Directors and the Four Power Group with oversight in U.S. armament cooperative programs and developing and establishing policy initiatives aimed at promoting cooperation on major weapon systems and technology among the NATO Allies. Current experience includes serving over 20 years as a Corporate Director of Ceradyne, Inc. with sales of approximately $400M/year. Mr. Lohr has hands-on experience in the research and development of technology and its transition to viable products in aviation, commercial radar, infrared, optics and space instrumentation. Mr. Lohr, as Executive Vice President, was one of two principals in Flight Systems Inc., which developed and produced sophisticated electronics and drone conversion and operation of F-86 aircraft. He was founder and CEO of Defense Research Corporation and held senior positions with: TITAN, TRW and Aeronutronic (Ford) involved in development of military electronics, and was associated with Defense Development Corp., L.F. Global, devoted to venture capital activities and serving on advisory boards. He was founder and chairman of INTERPAR in Washington, D.C., a company devoted to assisting U.S. corporations in forming business alliance with European companies. He received a BE degree in Engineering from USC and an MS degree from UCLA. He was a member of the Army Science Board and served on Panels of both the President's Science Advisory Committee and the Defense Science Board. He was awarded the Secretary of Defense Distinguished Public Service Medal, the Army's Outstanding Civilian Service Medal, the Secretary of Defense Meritorious Civilian Service Medal and the Army's Certificate of Appreciation for Patriotic Civilian Service. Mr. Lohr is currently Chairman of the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee and serves on both the Audit and Compensation Committees. Ceradyne has operations in five states with International Operating Divisions in Germany, China and Canada.

Jerry Schneider

Mr. Schneider has been an independent business and financial consultant since 2014. From 2004 to 2013, he was the Chief Financial Officer of Vistage International, a private equity-owned CEO peer-advisory membership company with over 20,000 members. Prior to Vistage, Mr. Schneider spent seven years at Fresenius Medical Care-North America, a global dialysis service and products company, where he served as Chief Financial Officer and later as Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning. Between 1994 and 1997, Mr. Schneider was the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of then publicly held GranCare, Inc. (GC), a healthcare company in the long-term care, assisted living and institutional pharmacy business. Mr. Schneider was first elected a director of Cognex in 2016. He serves on a number of other for-profit and non-profit boards. Mr. Schneider received his Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, and a B.S. in Accounting from the University of California at Berkeley. He is an inactive CPA and attorney in the State of California.

John Meyers

After 31 years at Avecia Inc. (and its former companies Astra Zeneca and ICI Americas) John decided to retire from his position as Director of Business Operation in 2003 and redirect his endless energy and expertise to form ConsulTech, a consulting company. John has been focusing on providing in-depth technical, operational, commercial, financial and quality consulting in support of the development of new products/markets and the enhancement of existing products and services. ConsulTech clients have spanned the range of universities, start-ups, and small and international businesses with support services in Ink Jet, Electrophotography, Sensors, Motion Analysis, Medical Devices, Batteries, Bio-Fuels, Security, PTSD, IT and other business fields. During his years with Avecia Inc., John demonstrated the ability to assess opportunities, implement plans and manage teams to cohesively work to accomplish a shared vision. His hands on approach, starting from bench chemist to senior board member of an international chemical company provided him invaluable and in-depth understanding of how to enhance and grow a business to exceed global customer needs. Building on his experience and international responsibility for process technology, manufacturing, operations, quality, supply chain, safety, and facilities management, he was instrumental in spearheading the growth of Avecia's Imaging Business from its inception to its establishment as the leading innovator of new colorants and inks. While working closely with international customers, John was responsible for the delivery of over 100 new products from R&D through scale-up, manufacture, customer qualification and commercialization. Utilizing his problem solving skills and a continuous improvement philosophy, John was responsible for developing processes and managing projects which delivered 10's of millions of dollars in fixed and revenue cost savings. Drawing on his wide range of experiences, John was instrumental in the developing and implementing a comprehensive range of Total Quality, risk management and manufacturing systems across international business units and with major OEM's. John's career has given him the opportunity to enjoy a diverse range of responsibilities in QA/QC, technical, environmental and manufacturing roles in support of a broad range of commercial endeavors. He has an extensive background in QA/QC with in-depth knowledge of instrumental methods, e.g., HPLC, GC, AA, and wet chemical analysis, from which he has delivered 100's of analytical methods to support internal and customer requirements. John developed from scratch comprehensive local as well as international quality systems and was a certified ISO auditor. John earned a BS in Chemistry from Virginia Tech.

Sebastien Goulet levers broad based global sales, operations, and technical knowledge to drive business growth and operational excellence within culturally diverse global environments. With more than 16 years of diversified international experience leading complex US and global manufacturing organizations, he has delivered rapid growth and sustainable multi-million dollar results within industrial (aerospace, medical, transportation, energy, military, lighting, fitness) and high tech (electronic, connector) industries. In addition, Sebastien has worked with multiple Private Equity businesses. Recognized for his expertise in global P&L management and operations, Sebastien developed scalable growth strategies and business plans to enter emerging global markets, drive mergers and acquisitions, and increase profitability through sales channel development, product mix optimization, and global sourcing strategies. To reduce costs, he developed leaner, more focused operating models, re-engineered business processes using Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing methods, maximized the manufacturing footprint, and increased time to market performance and service delivery improvements. Sebastien moves easily among multifunctional/multicultural teams and has lived and worked in France, UK, Mexico, Canada, and the US. Most recently, Sebastien served as Vice President and Director, Global Operations for ITT Cannon, a $380M global value center that designs, manufactures, and sells a broad range of highly-engineered interconnect devices and cable assemblies for harsh environment applications. He was responsible for profit and loss and total operations for nine facilities in North America, Europe, and Asia. Sebastien maximized the strategic business model, and executed strategic initiatives that facilitated sustainable growth, propelled multimillion dollar revenue gains, increased productivity, and generated traction in competitive global markets. Prior to joining ITT Cannon, Sebastien was the Executive Vice President Industrial Strategies at Deutsch Connectors. He developed a global sourcing strategy and deployed new sales and marketing strategies that were at the center of the company's China and India strategy. In addition, Sebastien created an improved industrial structure and developed innovative continuous improvement initiatives, generating significant cost savings worldwide. Sebastien served as Senior Vice President Operations/GM Commercial Division for Nautilus for two years prior to joining Deutsch. He developed a strategy to focus sales on product features vs. volume, and successfully led the division to profitability for the first time in three years. He consolidated commercial distribution centers; reduced cost of goods sold; and increased product development through R&D and NPI process improvements. Sebastien held executive leadership positions at PerkinElmer Optoelectronics, Flakt Woods Group, and General Electric Company. He developed and deployed multi-cultural 5S, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Lean manufacturing across each company and implemented cost management and robust process improvement initiatives to transform underperforming businesses. Sebastien grew up in Montreal, Canada. He graduated from Syracuse University with dual Bachelor of Science Degrees in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and dual Masters Degrees in Manufacturing Engineering and Engineering Management. He achieved his Six Sigma Master Black Belt and Green Belt certification at GE and participated in their industry-leading Leadership Development Program. Sebastien is fluent in Spanish, French, and English. Sebastien was also a member of Canada's National Swimming Team. He was recognized as the Big East Scholar Athlete of the Year, and held numerous records in Canada and the US. Sebastien resides in Encinitas, California.
