Bayou Dental began our patient driven conservative and comprehensive dental care in 1983 when Dr. James Callahan, Sr, DDS opened his practice off Bayou Blvd. in Pensacola, FL. His son James (Jamie) Callahan, Jr., DMD joined the practice in 2001 and now continues a family tradition of serving the Pensacola community and surrounding areas with comprehensive dental treatment. Dr. Callahan, Sr. retired in 2012 after working as a dentist for approximately 40 years. Dr. Jamie Callahan recently celebrated his 20th anniversary of graduating from dental school in 2020. In April of 2021, Pensacola native Dr. Steve Smith joined the Bayou Dental team.
