Our goal is to help families establish home libraries that are well-stocked with great books. We offer information with our reference books, encouragement through our seminars, and the opportunity to purchase excellent vintage, out-of-print, and secondhand books either at our boot at a convention, or via email... We began our homeschooling adventure reading what Charlotte Mason called "Living Books" with our children. These were the books suggested in wonderful resources such as Honey for a Child's Heart by Gladys Hunt and, later, Books Children Love by Elizabeth Wilson, and For the Children's Sake by Susan Macaulay. At first we took home boxes of books we had checked out of the library. THEN, we discovered library sales as a source for great books and also bought books at thrift stores and garage sales.
