The BCWRT was organized in May 2010 by Wally Rueckel and Tom O'Donnell, both avid Civil War buffs who were previous members of Civil War round tables in other states. The first BCWRT meeting had XX attendees. Fast forward ten years when we are now the largest round table in the country with 1,110 members! Pre-Covid, our monthly meetings at Hatch Auditorium on the grounds of Ft Caswell attracted an average of 350-400 members!
