Chandrakant and Co. is one of the oldest brokering firm in Mumbai for edible oil market. The company was founded by Late Shri Chhaganlal Thakkar during early 1950 and was later handled and managed by his son Late Shri Chandrakant Thakkar upto March 2013. During his tenure, Shri Chandrakant Thakkar proved himself as a very shrewd businessman earning respect from his peers, competition and the entire edible oil market. He was also awarded "Best Broker for the year" in 1994-1995 by the government of India.
