In 1992, Dr. Paul DeMarco and Dr. Mohan Nadkarni dreamed of
a volunteer-driven clinic that would provide free, high-quality health care to our community - and the Charlottesville Free Clinic was born. Today, the Free Clinic operates out of the generosity of health care professionals who volunteer over 14,000 hours of their time each year... The Charlottesville Free Clinic provides a high-quality doctor, dentist, and free medications for community members without affordable access to health care... Our commitment to our community means that our uninsured neighbors have access to the same quality health care as people with insurance.
