Dr. Seth Rush

Dr. Rush completed his undergraduate education at William Jewell College in 2008, earning a degree in Chemistry. He then continued his education at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry where he was selected into the Periodontal Honors program. After earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2012, he then began his periodontal training at Saint Louis University Center for Advanced Dental Education. During his residency, Dr. Rush had extensive training in treating periodontal disease, soft tissue grafting and dental implant therapy, while also performing extensive research of sinus grafting which became the basis for his master's thesis. After finishing residency, he pursued a career in private practice. Dr. Rush has achieved board certification in periodontics and dental implants. Dr. Rush is committed to providing optimal care and constantly seeks to improve and explore new treatment techniques. Dr. Rush understands that esthetics play an important role in restoring anterior (front teeth) implants, and he works to apply the necessary strategies during implant placement to help provide excellent esthetics. Dr. Rush enjoys contributing to the education of others and has done this through lecturing for the Northwest Dental Society and the Greater Kansas City Dental Hygiene Association, and serving as a guest lecturer for State Fair Community College and UMKC Dental Hygiene programs. Our practice also has a long history of participating with Externship Programs for Dental and Dental Hygiene Students, which offers students the opportunity to learn while observing in an actual office setting. In addition to offering patients the best care, education, and treatment, Dr. Rush looks for ways to help patients improve their overall health. Dr. Rush understands that a patient's comfort comes first, and will work with each patient to provide the best and most appropriate care possible.
