DR. MOZA - Key Persons
Doctor Moza earned his bachelor's degree in biology and his medical degree from Albany Medical College, both with distinction. Doctor Moza completed his surgery internship at George Washington University School of Medicine and Neurosurgery residency at the University of Miami, where he served as Chief Resident at one of the busiest departments in the nation. Doctor Moza scored the highest on written boards in his department as a resident. After residency, Doctor Moza then joined the Department of Neurological Surgery at OHSU in Portland, Oregon as Instructor of Skull Base Surgery and Neuro-oncology. In August of 2014, Dr. Moza was initiated into the American College of Surgeons (ACS).
Dr. Moza is the foremost expert in the area and has revised many surgeries that were initially done at university centers in Los Angeles, Beverly Hills and Cedars-Sinai.
Dr. Kapil Moza has earned the Vital's Patients' Choice Award 5 years in a row. Only 1% of all doctors in the United States are bestowed this honor by their patients.
Dr. Moza is the only spine specialist and neurosurgeon in the area named to Super Doctor's List in Los Angeles Magazine.
