Dr. Susan L. Hochstenbach

Susan L. Hochstenbach's long journey into chiropractic service began in 1985 when she was involved in a motor vehicle accident that caused both back and knee problems. Chiropractic care quickly resolved those problems and enabled Susan to resume her normal daily life when other forms of care did not. Upon completing her four year honours degree in physiology at the University of Western Ontario in 1991, Susan entered into the Ph.D. program, obtaining her doctorate in 1997. Her specialty was neurophysiology and her specific field of study was how the central nervous system controlled the cardiovascular system. Her funding was provided by the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. Susan has many publications and has presented her research across both Canada and the United States. During her time at Western, Susan continued with her chiropractic care, until given the opportunity to enter chiropractic college in the fall of 1996. Susan L. Hochstenbach graduated Magna Cum Laude from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2000.
