Lauren has served in the financial services industry since 2022, when she began assisting with GJO Financial seminars. In March 2023, she decided to join her father's business full-time, obtaining her state insurance licenses to be able to offer annuities and life insurance. Always passionate about math and helping others to understand how numbers work, Lauren became interested in this business when she would hear people say things like, "wow, I wish I started saving for retirement 30/40 years ago." She realized the importance of saving for retirement at a young age and wants to follow in her father's footsteps, helping others understand the importance of creating a strategy for retirement.
After her father left corporate America to start his business, he told Lauren the story of when he met with his first clients. He created a financial strategy for a husband and wife, and both hugged him, crying tears of joy. Lauren understands that she is in an industry that can potentially change the course of people's lives for the better. To her, there is nothing more rewarding than helping others, and she hopes to share her knowledge while continuing to learn everything she can about the business. People work almost half their lives in the hopes of retiring, and she finds it rewarding that she has the ability to help make this possible for people and help them feel more confident when retiring.
Lauren graduated first in her class and summa cum laude from Penn State University's Schreyer Honors College in May 2023. While at Penn State, she interned for PondelWilkinson, a leading investor relations and strategic public relations firm. She also served as a teaching assistant at Penn State, and continues to tutor students in math, science, English, and Spanish. Lauren loves writing and currently writes for her local newspaper, The Bucks County Herald, where two of her articles have made the front page.
