Ann Conway - CHRO

Ann joined Heim Construction in 2022. She has worked 20+ years as a human resource executive in the public safety industry. Ann is an experienced people manager who manages the staffing process, ensures company compliance with federal, state and local governmental agencies and reporting. Ann serves as the Company's EEO Officer, maintaining Company policies, benefits, and manages the workers compensations program. She holds her PHR Certification from the HRCI institue and a SHRM-CP.

Charles (CJ) Stack

CJ Stack has been with Heim Construction since 2008. He has worked on numerous bridges, treatment plants and dams while working as lead carpenter. In addition, while serving as foreman CJ ran and constructed many ADA projects. He was recently promoted to General Superintendent of the Concrete Divsion and is currently managing the six (6) concrete crews working to construct ADA components and the slip form curb construction crew.

Christy Joy - CFO

Christy Joy is a Certified Public Accountant who joined Heim Construction as our Chief Financial Officer in 2020. Christy provides results-oriented financial administrative support. Index and reconcile documents. Apply knowledge of account terminology and thorough use of Excel, pivots tables, ODBC, QuickBooks, Sage, ProCore, and cloud document sharing. Christy performs Financial Reporting, Tax Planning, Job Cost Review, Internal Control, Risk Management, HR Benefits, Captive Insurance Review, and is an expert opportunity solver.

Denise Rautzhan

Denise joined Heim Construction in April 2021. She is a graduate of St. Joseph's University with a BA in accounting. Previously, she was in the banking industry for over 30 years serving as CFO. Currently, Denise is the Controller and Assistant Secretary responsible for the Accounts Receivable function ensuring timely completion of billing and collection, cash management, equipment management, vehicle insurance processing in addition to overseeing payroll and other miscellaneous accounting functions.

Emily joined the Heim Construction team in 2023 as the Bid Administrator. Emily is a 2019 graduate of Minersville Area School District and a 2023 Graduate of Lebanon Valley College. As Bid Administrator, she assists the Sr. Estimator and the General Construction Division team.

James Buhay

Jim Buhay has well over 28 years of experience, most of which is spent with Heim Construction. Jim is certified by the American Hospital Association and the AIA in Infectious Control, he also holds certificates in Construction Safety and Health, Lead Testing, Removal, and Firestop Systems, and ACI. Jim has completed many different projects in his years with Heim Construction, from X-ray units, restaurants, medical offices, and nursing facilities.

Jeff Bush

Job Titles:

Jeffrey Bush joined Heim Construction Company, Inc. in 2014. Jeffrey comes to Heim with over 35 years in the construction industry. Jeffrey spent over 25 years in the concrete construction of Water and Waste Water Treatment Plants. With this experience in the concrete construction of structures based on ACI, the transition to Heim Construction Company, Inc. concrete division was a logical fit. Jeffrey also brings many years in the construction management, with duties that include, estimating, Scheduling, Project Management and General Superintendent. Jeffrey is dedicated to help making Heim Construction the best it can be in the construction industry. Jeff is our General Superintendent for the construction division, specializing in Penn-DOT Highway construction commercial concrete.

Jill Bobbin

Jill is a Construction Administrator for the Heim Construction Co., Inc. General Construction Division. Providing administrative support to all Project Managers, she assists in the preparation and maintenance of all contract files, which includes all bidding and contracting documentation preparation, adding to the efficiency of our PM and Estimating team. Jill handles all aspects of construction administration such as Subcontracts, Purchase Orders, Submittals/Shop Drawings, Certified Payroll, Document Prep, Assisting Subcontractors, Job Costing, PA One Calls, Insurance Certificate Compliance, and is Procore Certified. Jill brings 27 years of purchasing experience to the company and handles the purchasing of office, janitorial, and safety supplies along with any tools and supplies needed on the job sites.

John S. Mills

John S. Mills has over 30 years of experience in the construction industry. John started his career out of high school in commercial construction. In the past 20 years, John scheduled and supervised crews of field technicians before moving to a Senior Project Manager fitting out post-secondary schools across the United States. John was also instrumental in coordinating an $8,000,000 addition and full remodel with site work for one of the largest employers in Schuylkill County. In the past 8 years John has run multiple renovation projects for one of the largest healthcare providers in eastern Pennsylvania.

Maria is a Construction Administrator for the Heim Construction Co., Inc. General Construction Division. Providing administrative support to all Project Managers, she assists in the preparation and maintenance of all contract files, adding to the efficiency of our PM team. Maria brings to Heim Construction 15 years of experience in all aspects of construction administration and construction management, such as Subcontracts, Purchase Orders, Submittals/Shop Drawings, Certified Payroll, Document Prep, Assisting Subcontractors, Job Costing, PA One Calls, Insurance Certificate Compliance, Operation & Maintenance Manuals and is Procore Certified. Maria interacts with subcontractors and owner's representatives to keep things running smoothly within the project team for the duration of the project.

Michael Wright

Michael Wright started in construction working for his father in the 1970s doing home remodeling and additions. His career has taken him from those early roots to managing multi-million dollar projects and programs with national and international companies. His expertise in project management, scheduling, and estimating spans over 31 years of constructing facilities to serve the needs of education, medical, transportation, manufacturing, warehousing, industrial, commercial and residential construction clients. He always strives to serve clients' needs professionally and provide a quality project timely and on budget.

Rory Donly has been a project manager with Heim Construction since 2018. Rory provides overall management of construction projects; including: knowing the project, clear and direct communication, contract execution, scheduling, overseeing submittal review/approval, quality control, coordination of manpower, and budget management.

Roy A. Heim - President

Roy A. Heim began Roy A. Heim Construction in 1990. In 1994, he incorporated his company, which now is Heim Construction Co., Inc. His expertise is in construction and estimating. Mr. Heim had been responsible for the growth of his company for the past 28 years. His background has been in the General Construction of the medical field, municipality work and general commercial construction. His goal is to see a project run smooth from start to finish with quality and competitive pricing. Roy Heim graduated in 1985 from Blue Mountain School District. Roy had a few construction jobs during High school and then upon his graduation went to work for Heavy Highway Contractor, Geo. R. Lynn. After working for Lynn for approximately 2 years Roy was offered a position in Homer, Alaska to work on a 3-mile tunnel, dam, and hydroelectric plant project, which he accepted. Roy moved to Alaska in 1988. In 1990 Roy moved back home to Schuylkill County. Even though Roy only worked there for a few years the experience and knowledge were worth 10 years of wonderful construction experience. In 1990 Roy opened Roy A Heim Construction. Completing sidewalk concrete and remodeling projects. Over the next few years, he put on 2 then 3 employees (who still work with Heim Construction today). In 1994 Roy married Deborah. Roy and Deborah worked together building the business and in 1994 they incorporated their venture, Heim Construction Co., Inc. Roy tried to keep his core values out in front. Always making sure he took the extra step for his customers.

Shawn graduated from Widener University in 2016 with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Civil Engineering. He started his career as an Engineering Consultant designing and inspecting civil works projects. During his time as an engineer, he secured his ACI, PennDOT NECEPT Bituminous and PennDOT NECEPT Concrete certifications. He spent 4 years as an Engineer and then transitioned his career to construction in 2021. Shawn has been doing Estimating and Project Management since then. He started his career at Heim Construction in June of 2022. He is dedicated to have a successful career at Heim Construction and to continue to grow the fantastic reputation of the company with all of our clients.

Shelby Lescavage

Shelby started with Heim Construction in 2023 as an architectural designer. She works with the needs of our clients and project managers to help provide designs, drawings and 3D renderings. Shelby has been studying and working in the architectural field for the past 6 years. She received her degree at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in architecture. Her goal for the company is to meet the needs of the clients and to bring their ideas to life.
