Dr. Linus Pauling made a seemingly outrageous statement about forty years ago… "You can trace every sickness, every disease, and every ailment, ultimately to a mineral deficiency." And, like many of Dr. Pauling's statements this turned out many years later to be scientifically validated and hauntingly prophetic. In Dr. Pauling's shorthand, "orthomolecular" meant, literally, "to straighten out the molecules" - to put the right molecules in the right order in relation to each other - to up-regulate the good genes and down-regulate the bad ones. Every patient can be tested to his or her DNA. It is as if a key is put in the lock and the biochemistry is turned over to improve the health of the patient.
