KATE CARR-FANNING

I am based in the School of Psychological, Social, and Behavioural Sciences in Coventry University, working as an Assistant Professor in Childhood, Youth and Education Studies. My area of expertise and my passion is the application of psychology to education, especially psychology's application to special education needs and inclusive education... I finished my B.A. (Hons) in Psychology in 2010 (2:1) and then my Ph.D. in Psychology and Education from Trinity a College Dublin in 2015. My doctoral research explored stress, emotion, and coping with students, parents, and teachers affected by Attention Deficit Hyperactivity (ADHD) in mainstream primary and post-primary schools in Ireland, in order to understand what works and what needs to change in practice.
