LIFE ALIGNED

We make all "rational" decisions according to preference for one set of data points over another, or just as often, based on a desire to get something else that the chosen logic will help bring to us... We may think that we are using logic when we decide, but to make a particular choice, we must like the outcome of that pick-at least a bit better than the alternatives. If we are expressing a preference for an outcome (at any level), we are making an emotional choice... After a time of mindfulness practice, and Emotional Mastery practice, our life approach paradigm changes. We find we are not dependent on realizing our desires to create or sustain our happiness. The road towards the fulfillment of our desires becomes our primary source of happiness. We can playfully choose our desires, and playfully move through the journey to realize them. In such a way of being, if we do not get "the thing," we more quickly make peace with that, because we have wrung all the fun we could have out of..
