Christer Bergman

Christer Bergman is the founder of Novexus, LLC a business development consultancy company based in Vienna, Virginia. Since 2000, Mr. Bergman has been a well-known business leader in the Security and Biometrics industry and has been involved in numerous speaking engagements before industry groups as well as the Congress. In particular the balance between privacy and security is of keen interest to Mr. Bergman as he advice companies and organizations within the Biometrics and Security industry. He cofounded the company ProHockeyIQ, a cloud based matching service for recruitment of professional hockey players and hockey teams. Mr. Bergman was the President and CEO of Precise Biometrics, AB, between 2001 and 2006. He previously served as a member of the Board of Directors for Precise Biometrics AB, Fingerprint Cards AB, WCC-Group BV, Palago AB, EyeVerify, Inc., Authasas BV, Ubiqo AB, SweCard AB, and Quard Technology AS. Since many years, Mr. Bergman was a member of the board of the International Biometrics and Identification Association (IBIA) as well as a very active member of the board of the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce of Washington, DC (SACC-DC). Currently he serves as the Chairman of SACC-DC as well as Chairman for the SACC-USA organization. During more than 35 years, Mr. Bergman have held numerous executive positions in the high tech industries in the US and Europe and earned a Master of Science Degree from the Lund Institute of Technology in Sweden, as well as from the University of California, Berkeley. Mr. Bergman also earned an officers degree from the Royal Swedish Naval Academy and currently resides in Virginia.

Gun Denhart

Gun Denhart, a native of Sweden, has lived in Portland, Oregon for more than 25 years. Gun received the equivalent of an MBA from Lund University in Sweden. In 1983 she and her husband Tom, founded the Hanna Andersson children's clothing company in the garage of their Portland home. Through her leadership, the company became known for its quality clothing made from soft cotton materials, family friendly employee policies and innovative contributions to the community through non-profit and school partnerships. She pioneered, and was nationally recognized for, many family friendly work place policies including childcare reimbursements for employees and flexible working hours. In 1992 Gun received the Business Enterprise Trust Award for Social Entrepreneurship. The Business Enterprise Trust was a nonprofit group founded to laud companies for integrating social vision into their business plans. In 1996 President Bill Clinton invited her to the White House for a meeting of Socially Responsible Entrepreneurs. Hanna Andersson was repeatedly recognized by Working Mother magazine in their annual 100 best companies for working mothers and by Working Woman magazine as one of the top 500 woman owned businesses in America. Gun was featured in Business Ethics and Inc Magazine for her business principles and practices around sustainability and family friendly workplaces. Before it was widely fashionable Gun was an early supporter of the use of organic cotton requiring vendors to meet the Oko-Tex standard - a European ecological certification process that tests garments for harmful substances. Hanna Andersson became widely known for organic cotton products, which coincided with the growing market for organics in the U.S. and abroad. Denhart is an enthusiastic hiker and yoga devotee. She lives in Portland and has three sons and five granddaughters.

Göran Eriksson is President and founder of esi Techtrans Inc. Göran founded the international business development consultancy in 1984 after his two-year assignment at the Swedish Offices of Science & Technology, Los Angeles. Göran was a Senior Advisor at Invest in Sweden Agency, the Swedish government agency with a mission to stimulate foreign direct investment, for 10 years. Göran has served as President of The Swedish American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Los Angeles (SACC GLA), and he is a former Vice Chairman of the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce USA (SACC USA) as well as a former Chapter Board Member of Southern California Technology Council Los Angeles. Göran is also Chairman of the Board and Co-founder of Euro VAT Refund Inc., and is elected as City Council Member in the city of Culver City, California. Göran earned his Master of Science degree in Computers and Electronics at LTH, University of Lund, Sweden, where he also served as President of the Student Union.

Jeffrey A. Graham

Mr. Graham is the president of Tradewind Capital, a legal and financial advisory firm based in Los Angeles, California. Graham was born in New York City and is a graduate of Brown University (B.A.), Loyola Marymount (M.A., English), and Georgetown University Law Center (J.D.). Since 2004, Graham has worked widely in education and philanthropy. He served as director of a Rudolf Steiner school, chief operating officer of a developer of school facilities for high-quality charter school operators serving at risk urban populations, and executive director of the Los Angeles office for a national community development financing institution. Graham has helped create over 12,000 public school seats throughout California and has raised and leveraged millions of dollars in grant and operating funds, new markets tax credit equity, and public and private debt to help low-income communities. Graham is also a lawyer admitted to the New York and California Bar Associations, and developer of commercial real estate including 250 residential units in California. He also serves to fund and restructure under-capitalized businesses, advises creditor committees to companies and partnerships in bankruptcy, and was a key advisor in the successful recapitalizations of Fairfield Communities and US Home (among other public and private entities), while also assembling and managing a multi-state commercial real estate portfolio on behalf of institutional clients. In 1989, Graham married Swedish actress Elizabeth Banke with whom he has two sons, and taught at Lund University as the American lecturer in Lund's English Department. Graham recently published a book of his poetry: Elegy to a Surveyor.

Kristina Åkesson

Kristina Åkesson is dean of Lund University Faculty of Medicine. She is professor of orthopedics and senior consultant at Skåne University Hospital. Her research is directed at osteoporosis and fragility fractures including aspects of epidemiology and bone metabolism. She is engaged internationally in the field as well as nationally and has led numerous initiatives, most recently for Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions.

Maria Tufvesson Shuck is the head of Mannheimer Swartling's New York office. Maria joined the firm as an associate in 1988 and has been a partner since 1995. Maria received an LL.M from Harvard Law School in 1987 and an LL.M from Lund University in 1985. Mats Benner

Mats Benner is dean of Lund University School of Economics and Management. He is a professor in science policy studies and specializes in studies of the governance and funding of universities and academic research. He is a permanent member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences, and has served repeatedly on the research advisory board of the Swedish government.

Mr. Robert D. Resnick - Chairman

Mr. Robert D. Resnick is the Chair of the Ravensbruck campaign Mr. Resnick is a successful entrepreneur from an early age. He has been an attorney, management consultant, and real estate CEO, as well as a public officeholder, educator and mentor for thirty-five years. He has held several public offices and served on major community boards throughout his career. He is currently the President and CEO of RDR Properties, a real estate development and management company, specializing in medium size high profile urban revitalization projects. He chaired the revitalization of Santa Monica's Third Street Promenade, launched the revitalization of the Redondo Beach Historical Pier, and has been active in the marketing and improvement of the Beverly Hills Golden Triangle district. Mr. Resnick was the Founder and President of Integrated Information Management, Inc. ("IIM") a full service management consulting firm, assisting in the creation of counseling and behavioral support programs in the workplace for clients such as Wells Fargo Bank, Bank of America, Chevron, Levi Strauss, State of California, County of Los Angeles, and numerous other Fortune 100 companies, government agencies, as well as not-for-profit NGO's. In addition to his business enterprises, Mr. Resnick has held several public offices, including serving as President of the Beverly Hills Civil Service Commission, Chairman of Santa Monica's Downtown Revitalization Commission, President of the Redondo Pier Association, and Member of the California Senate Select Committee on Small Business Enterprises' Citizens Advisory Commission and the Beverly Hills Municipal Facilities Advisory Commission. He also has been highly involved in community service for organizations such as Kehillat Israel, Palisades Charter Schools Foundation, Maple Center, and the Jewish Federation Council of Greater Los Angeles, just to mention a few. Mr. Resnick attended the University of California, Berkeley, Lund University (as an exchange student from U.C. Berkeley), and Southwestern University School of Law. He has played blues guitar professionally and is a great admirer and collector of fine art. He has lectured at UCLA, USC, and California State University Los Angeles, and speaks fluent Swedish, Norwegian and Spanish. He loves traveling the world together with his family.
