My own approach to psychotherapy is a Pluralistic one---that is, different therapies are more (or less) appropriate and effective in treating certain conditions (and/or certain people) than others. Each person and their situation is unique and requires an individualized approach. With that in mind I draw from a number of different therapies (or models) in working with people- although I am trained as a psychoanalyst. The result is a synergistic approach that utilizes both an diverse theoretical knowledge base and clinical wisdom. Some of the therapies that inform my work are listed below.
