COVINGTON PARTNERS

Through its early years, Covington Partners was funded by federal and state government programs such as Kentucky Incentives for Prevention, Drug Free Communities Support Program and the Safe Schools/Healthy Students Initiative. As the community began to see the benefit of this work, more and more of the coalition's support is coming from within Covington and the Northern Kentucky area. Stakeholders from throughout the community - youth, parents, agencies, businesses, faith communities, government departments, schools, law enforcement entities, media, civic groups and healthcare professionals - all are involved as we work together in support of the youth of Covington... Covington Partners was founded in 1999 to reduce drug abuse and violence among Covington youth. Since that time, we've expanded our offerings to include a variety of mentoring, family strengthening, and physical/mental health programs.
