Dr. Brandon Comfort

Dr. Brandon Comfort was born and raised in Calgary. He attended Sir Winston Churchill High School and then went on to complete his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University. He received his Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Exercise Science. He then went on to earn his DMD degree from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Comfort and his wife, Alivia, have two daughters and a son. They enjoy an active lifestyle and regularly spend time outdoors. Dr. Brandon loves his profession as a Dentist. He enjoys building relationships with his patients and helping them be healthier and confident through proper oral care. He has a kind and calming demeanor that allows his patients to feel safe and relaxed.

Dr. Justin Comfort

Dr. Justin Comfort grew up in Calgary. He graduated from Dr. E.P. Scarlett High School, and following graduation, served a two year service mission in Arizona. Shortly thereafter, he studied chemistry at the University of Calgary and then attended Dental School at the University of Alberta. Dr. Justin has practiced in multiple clinics in various locations before settling in Okotoks. The people and atmosphere in this wonderful town made the decision easy to make. He is happily married to his sweet wife Krista and they are busy raising four rambunctious boys. The boys are regulars at Okotoks Dental and love to come visit and raid the toy bin. Dr. Comfort is a kind dental practitioner who treats all his patients with courtesy and respect. He does his best to adhere to his slogan and care for everyone like he would his own family. He takes pride in his ability to connect with patients. ln keeping with his name, Dr. Comfort will do all he can to put you at ease during your dental visit and is confident you will be happy with your decision to come and see us.

Dr. Shayla Porter

Born and raised in Calgary, Dr. Shayla Porter attended Strathcona Tweedsmuir for high school prior to completing her undergraduate degree in Biology at Queen's University. She then went to earn her Master's of Science at the University of Southern California in Global Medicine and subsequently relocated to Cork, Ireland to complete her dentistry studies. Shayla was fortunate enough to explore over 40 different countries while studying in Ireland. In her third year of dental school, her passion for travel and volunteer work took her to Nepal where her and her classmates met and treated over 1200 local patients. Dr. Shayla is an attentive listener and what makes her the happiest is fostering connections and building trusted relationships with her patients. In her spare time, you can find Dr. Shayla playing soccer, practicing yoga, running, enjoying the outdoors, or spending time with her friends and family. She is excited to be part of the Okotoks Dental family and looks forward to meeting you
