Dr. Mason Borth

Dr. Mason Borth is a board-certified orthodontist who has been helping create healthy and beautiful smiles for patients at Orthodontic Specialists of Dallas since 2019. His favorite part of being an orthodontist is seeing the dramatic change orthodontic treatment can have not only on patients' teeth, but their self-confidence. A native of Corpus Christi, Dr. Borth developed an early passion for serving others and an interest in dentistry from his father who is a general dentist. Dr. Borth completed his undergraduate education at Texas A&M University where he graduated with honors. Most importantly, Texas A&M is where Dr. Borth met his now-wife Chandler, who is a pediatric dentist. Dr. Borth followed in his dad's footsteps, attending UT Houston School of Dentistry where he graduated at the top of his class. During dental school, he earned numerous honors including induction into OKU Dental Honor Society, the Psi Omega Fraternity Scholastic Achievement Award, and the Walter G. Sterling Outstanding Achievement Award. Dr. Borth stayed in Houston for his orthodontic residency, earning his Orthodontic Certificate, Master of Science in Dentistry, and certification from the American Board of Orthodontics. During his residency, Dr. Borth completed research on the topic of clear aligner therapy, which earned the Charley Schultz Research Award from the American Association of Orthodontists and was published in the Journal of Aligner Orthodontics. After completing his residency, Dr. Borth and Chandler moved to Dallas, where they welcomed a baby girl in 2021. Outside of the office, Dr. Borth enjoys hunting and fishing, traveling, and experiencing the many exceptional restaurants Dallas has to offer.
