Dr. Kelsey Broadhead graduated from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2019 after receiving her Animal Science Degree from the UC Davis Undergraduate Program. She is a UC Davis Aggie through-and-through. During her years in school at Davis, she spent multiple summers volunteering with wildlife rescue programs, including a cheetah sanctuary in Southern Africa and a Costa Rican turtle breeding research group. After graduating, she has worked primarily in General Practice with dogs and cats, but has a desire to expand her medicine to include rabbits and other small pet exotics. In her free time, she loves to play with her 3 cats, Nox, Timmy and Kevin, and her new puppy, Kyber. She enjoys traveling and sometimes the occasional exercise-based travel including spontaneous half-marathons.
Dr. Kortney Igoe was born in Maryland and graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. She has worked in zoo and wildlife medicine, mixed animal practice, and emergency medicine before focusing on small animal medicine and surgery. PetCare Veterinary Clinic welcomed her to the staff in November 2017. When not caring for her patients, she can be found cheering her two sons on in their sports endeavors.
We welcomed Dr. Leighanne Goyder to PetCare Veterinary Clinic in 2015. She graduated from the Ohio State University in 2010 with a degree in Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Leighanne has a special interest in dentistry and wellness care. In her spare time, she enjoys practicing yoga, paddle boarding and spending time with her daughters. She has a special love for Cavalier King Charles spaniels and shares her home with two; Bella and Charlie and two cats Super Carl and Parker.
Dr. Sandra McRoberts graduated from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 1987, after receiving her Master's Degree in Integrated Agricultural Development. She then went on to receive a certificate in Epidemiology at UC Davis as well. Dr. McRoberts opened PetCare Veterinary Clinic in 1996, after working with various rescue groups and clinics. Dr. McRoberts has a special interest in rabbit care and has worked closely with rabbit rescues in the area for many years. She also specializes in pocket pets including rats, hamsters, and guinea pigs. In her spare time she loves to cuddle with her dogs Gidget and Gracie, and her cats Daniel and Pudge. She enjoys vacationing in Bali, and spending time outdoors tending to her plants.
