Dr. Candace Woodman

Dr. Candace Woodman graduated from UBC Dentistry in 2007, and prior to that studied Biology and Animal Physiology at SFU. She spent the first chapter of her career working in Port Coquitlam, and having a part-time position with the Faculty of Dentistry at UBC. In 2019, Dr. Woodman graduated from the Kois Center in Seattle, WA. Candace grew up in Port Moody, where she currently resides with her husband. When she is not at work, you can find her spending most of her time with family and friends. She enjoys outdoor activity, which includes running and hiking, and stays healthy and moving with her Barre community. In this next chapter, Dr. Woodman looks forward to serving a new community, and leaning into her favourite aspect of dental practice, which is building relationships and helping patients optimize their health. Dr. Woodman has a keen interest in oral surgery, restorative and pediatric dentistry. Dr. Woodman strives to educate, inform and provide comfortable care for her patients.

Dr. Ekaterina Sapchuk

Dr. Sapchuk completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree (DMD) at the University of British Columbia (UBC). She was recognized by the Dean's List as an exceptional student, receiving Honors in restorative dentistry and completed a highly competitive Oral Surgery elective. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is committed to providing high quality, compassionate, and kind, patient-centred care. Dr. Sapchuk discovered her passion for dentistry working at multiple dental clinics in the Lower Mainland while completing an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at UBC. She was born in Tyumen, Russia and relocated to Richmond in 2004. Outside of work, Dr. Sapchuk can be found spending time with her mini dachshund, Gio, lounging at local lakes in the summer, playing board games with friends and family, or snowboarding in the winter.

Dr. Grace Yan

After completing her undergraduate degree in Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology at the University of Toronto, Dr. Grace Yan went on to The University of Western Ontario where she completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree on the Dean's Honor List. Grace has been practicing dentistry in Lower Mainland since 2013. Being the newest addition to the office, she is excited to be serving the Pitt Meadows community. Outside of work, Grace enjoys doing yoga, hiking and going on photo walks.

Dr. Jan Versendaal

Jan received his dentistry degree from the University of Alberta in 1985. Since then, he has practiced in Red Deer and Jasper, Alberta, Valemont, B.C. and Inuvik, North West Territories. In 1987, he opened a practice in Pitt Meadows where he continues to work today. Jan received an Award of Merit from The College of Dental Surgeons of B.C. in 2017. Jan began volunteering at CDSBC in 2012. He was a member of the CDSBC Board from 2012 to 2016 and continues to serve on the Quality Assurance Committee. Prior to volunteering at the college, Jan gained experience in dental regulation as the president of the Fraser Valley Dental Society and as a board member for the B.C. Dental Association.

Dr. Preet Bhatti

Dr. Preet Bhatti was born and raised in Maple Ridge. He attended high school at Westview Secondary and graduated from Thomas Haney Senior Secondary. Preet completed his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Pharmaceutical Sciences and his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) at the University of British Columbia. Preet has been practicing dentistry in Pitt Meadows since 2004. Dr. Bhatti is also a Part Time Clinical Instructor in the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of British Columbia. Outside dentistry, Dr. Bhatti likes to stay active by running, hiking, snowboarding, and playing soccer. He also has an interest in photography and enjoys traveling.
